Hi Kenneth, i recommend you familiarize yourself with ACIM, you will get a fresh perspective on good old JC. once you realize how the atonement is the transcendence of the ego, the end of separation, you will change your tune. just reading a few of the exercise titles should give you enough hints that it isn't what your preconceived thoughts assumed it was, like "Nothing I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything." "My thoughts do not mean anything." ... you will also understand how ACIM was a major player in many modern non-dual teachers "journey" as clear perceiving is step 1 all the best
