Whats scary is they keep pulling the og card because it makes you wonder how many times they can pull it off before people get tired of it if anything what they should do is just bring out a mode that cycles through chapters 1 2 and 3 with the specific chapters lootpools and what not that would be a way better idea then pulling the og card every year

The content drought was over exaggerated tbh There was so much to do that we didn't really need that many updates. Season 1 had pretty much an entirely new game to completely relearn and explore, and Season 2 had tons of mythics to mess around with, and there were 350 levels to grind for gold peely which kept most people busy. Also deadpool half way through.

Once I found out that C5S4 was gonna be another Marvel season, I was hoping that they were gonna have OG Chapter 2 cycle through seasons 1-4, but it seems like that's not gonna be the case. It really is a shame, I was hoping that they could have it so that by the end, all the mythics from seasons 2-4 would be in at the same time. All they'd really have to do is find spots to move TNTina and Deadpool after season 2 ends.

As somebody who started playing fortnite in Chapter 2 season 2 I have personal nostalgia about that era of the game. I was speaking with somebody who didn't start playing fortnite until last year and told them how much fun the various POIs were, especially the boss fights and fighting Brutus in the cliffside base. I think it's a good idea to periodically bring these chapters and seasons back for new players who didn't get a chance to experience them. I also think it's good and fair to give new players a chance to get battle pass perks from bygone chapters and seasons. I showed them the custom character I made and my white meowscles and they were intrigued, I feel like new players should get a chance at getting these things as well. I don't care if I had to grind to get levels in the battle pass for it, vaulting it from future players isn't fair. Yeah, it's neat that I have some very early chapter 1 emotes and some chapter 1 skins, but this idea of gatekeeping rarity is eventually going to have to go by the wayside.

We can't have a re-run of The Device if we're going to Season 3, unless Epic make it like OG Chapter 1 where certain events like The Final Showdown never happened. This would however mean the arrival of Coral Castle and maybe The Fortilla just don't happen. They need to make it from Season 2 - Season 8, and have not an exact re-run of The End, but maybe an altered one

I acknowledge everything you said, but I still have no idea why folks such as yourself would be incredibly insistent that re-treading season 4 of chapter 2 would have legality issues. To our knowledge none of that is the case, otherwise there would have been no marvel season during chapter 5. Now, if you were to argue that it would feel to redundant to have two big marvel themed updates in the same chapter then I'd agree they might scale it back a little. And then due to the inconsistency of not wanting to retread season 4 they just decide to stop updating for the later seasons (5-8) bc the continuity for it makes no sense.

If they added season 5 as a final season it would work well. Adds map variety, an actual chance for sand tunneling to exist for longer than a day without bugs, and a good chance for an end event with the zero point.

Bro calm down is not that deep, those poi are cool but they are so tiny compared to the full of grass and not so interesting villages.compared to how the map looked chapter 4 onwards. Many players dont have nostalgia so they will think is boring

I’m only halfway through the video but I have to say this… I feel like ‘Fortnite OG’ went wayyyy too fast, it felt like just as we were settling into the season that it was themed around, it was already moving to the next… it felt like it didn’t play into each season enough… so 3 seasons for chapter 2 OG is not a problem in my opinion (also I was a mobile player, and season 4 was forced to switch to console because of that) so every season after that didn’t hit the same (I was in the top 500 mobile players in my region, so on console it didn’t hit the same because I became ‘above average’) but if I’m being entirely serious here, chapter 2 season 2 is my favourite season of Fortnite to date, I’d even go as far as putting it above every chapter 1 season (keep in mind I didn’t play chapter 1 seasons 1 and 2), me and my squad won so much that season, and I was dropping a 20 bomb almost every 2-3 wins, ending most games with 15+ kills… (this was console/pc lobbies as well because my squad weren’t also mobile), and despite this, i apparently played more games in chapter 2 season 1 and had more more kills, just a lower win rate though… so I actually have my hopes up for chapter 2 OG, if they just make season 1 1 week, season 2 2.5 weeks, and season 3 1.5 weeks, I’ll be happy… also if they bring back Fortnite chapter 1 OG later down the track they NEED to make each season at least 2 weeks, and they need to start from season 2 at least, and end with at least season 9 so people can get nostalgia of the World Cup… and maybe season X (solely so they can include versions of the catalyst and tilted technique skins, I got them but my friends always get jealous when I use them and wishes they got that pass, so adding styles or versions could be cool)

The Season End event will be The Doomsday Device but changed. Likewise the OG one the map changes would not have distinctive causality based on lore, or they might just rewrite the plot to fit their needs somehow.

This is why I believe chapter 2 to be overhyped by the community, I mean people hated chapter 2 season 2 until chapter 4 rolled around, then people started to be like "oh that season was good" even though the only reason why people were doing that is because the ENTIRE chapter (other than OG) was horrible, if we need to go into a bad chapter/season for people to realize the season was good, then the season wasn't good we were just in a bad chapter/season I mean the same thing happened with chapter 5 season 1, once we were into chapter 5 season 3 people started to nostalgia bait it, same with chapter 4 season 1 in chapter 4 season 3 and chapter 5 season 2 I mean the list goes on

A simple solution that epic just won’t do is that they can open up servers for all of the past seasons of Fortnite and that way people can always have access to any season they’ve ever wanted to play and they can still keep the storyline going and js keep creating new seasons to add on to it

I know it's your opinion and I won't attack that, but I basically disagreed with everything you said. I think seasons 1-3 were the only good seasons in chapter 2 (ignoring season 4). The simplicity and lack of change in season 1 was what made it special. Also, I actually disliked the fact that Chapter 1 OG last year had 5 seasons in it, every week came with pretty big and annoying changes.

The reason Ch2 S2 felt so boring is because it was insanely long. Since it's only going to be 1-2 weeks long in OG, I think it'll be fine. As for the end event, I think Midas' device will cause the map to flood, but then stay for the rest of season and come into play again at the end

Fortnite also would have to make these seasons mini seasons. So, when you think about it season 1 doesn't really do anything, so that's only two REAL seasons, and season 3 looses its whole theme halfway through the season so there's only 1.5 REAL seasons, but also they have to be mini versions so its like we are getting 0.5 of a season. (Edit: I just remembered you can still play chapter 2 season 3 on a mac, so in reality we are getting 0.25 of a season)

I hope they keep the grotto and everything in it for the entire season, that was the best loot run of all time, you would go in and come out with a mythic, legendary ar, heavy sniper, and a helicopter. Also my theory is that midas will spend the entire season recreating his failed device, but this time, it actually works and he breaks the loop.

Everything you said is facts. Chapter 2 og should go like this: Week 1: It will start with seasons 1 and 2. (The snow biome will be the one from season 5 so its bigger and adds more colour to the map) Week 2: It will have seasons 3 and 5. The map will be flooded and agency will not be replaced. The water will go down every day of this week. Week 3: It will have season 7. Giving us the mothership floating above the island, mothership minigame, all the great items from season 7, ufos, and one of the pois will have low gravity and be getting abducted. Week 4: It will be season 8. The convergence poi will not be in the middle but it will be somewhere else. The cubes will have a different route and every they theyll move. Some parts of the new biome will be moved to make sure no iconic pois are replaced. Live Event: Through out this og season the story from chapter 2 will keep on altering so that all the events happen at once. (I dont know the storyline. But midas will be trying to push back the storm, we will be doing operation sky fire, the ufo will crash down causing the map to flip and this time the map on the other side is chapter 6)

The OG season format just doesn’t work as well outside of Chapter 1. Chapter 1 had gradual change over time, and while I prefer having themed seasons, you can’t really smoothly jump from each season like you could with Season OG.

That’s why if they want to do only 3 seasons they just need to make sure that they add all the content in each season. In the original OG they left like 85% of the content out from the original seasons such as the jungle biome being gutted from season 8. The changes won’t be gradual but I guess that’s just how it’s gonna be if they are adding all the content in each season

Honestly season 1 won’t be that bad. It sucked because of how long it was + the fact that it didn’t have many new weapons and items but this time it won’t be so big of an issue since in normal battle royal this chapter there is a completely different loot pull. Honestly they should just make it so you can choose which season to play obviously not all of them but at least the ones they were going to put in og.

Season 1 will only be 1 week. The only reason people hate Season 1 was because it was 128 days with little updates. I guarantee we will be having too much fun landing in Slurpy Swamp and Retail Row to even worry about the lackluster loot pool that first Season. As soon as we all start getting bored, it's Heist time with Midas and crew and we will be in C2S2 for 3 weeks till the Island gets flooded. Honestly, the pacing according to these leaks couldn't be better and I'm more than excited. (even though we won't get Invasion this year)

I made a theory a while back that Chapter 5 (the entire thing) is nothing but an alternative version of Chapter 2 after the Big Bang event It sounds crazy but just read this: so remember how the Time Machine was strapped to the rocket causing what would’ve been the black hole but opened a multiverse of a ton of different worlds (e.g rocket racing etc) i had a theory that we were supposed to end up in the chapter 2 map (because thats what happend to the original The End event) but we ended up in an alternate dimension version of it. Here’s some similarities the further my theory: Society (who was looking for Pandora’s box) = I.O (who was looking for the zero point) Pandora’s box (an object that is able to release a ton of stuff) = The Zero point Megalo Don = Gunnar (people say hes like a nitro infused version or somthing but this theory could confirm it greatly, Also Chaos agent is confirmed to be his henchman who made Big chuggus) And now with Midas appearing in CH5 S2 and a current marvel season, the similarities are literally so clear like how the hell did nobody pick up on this???? (There is probably more similarities btw i just forgot to add them)

I’m not worried for chapter 2 since it’s my favorite chapter. Even if it’s deemed mid, I’ll still love it since it’s a trip down memory lane for me since I basically started in c2 s1 (although I actually started the day of the og end event). Also, I loved the first 3 seasons of c2. Imo c2 s1 is so underrated. It has little content but it’s simple which makes it fun. But of the first 3 c2 s1 Is the worst of the 3 definitely. I just can’t wait for chapter 2 og and im gonna love it no matter what.
