She is extremely insecure and needs to find herself before trying to be in a relationship. Regular counseling is a good way for her to start. He should find a new girlfriend these types of situations get worse and worse over time. Petty jealousy can turn deadly and she is already showing signs of being irrational and overly attached.

You do understand that being unreasonably jealous of complete strangers and patients is indicative of an underlying issue right? That's not weakness on the boyfriends part. Yes he should seek out a partner who doesn't make him hesitant in being himself who isn't irrational and overly jealous. It isn't healthy. You sound like you are projecting. Being jealous in relationships isn't cute. Jealousy stems from the fact that you have a lack of trust in your partner and you aren't secure in yourself, you don't think that you are good enough so you lash at those who have the qualities you lack. That's not okay. And I always recommend counseling. It's healthy and helpful. Try it out sometime.

I loved that she found him very handsome. I have a friend who thinks "ugly" guys are cute (using the term lightly here), based on societal standards, while the rest of us are like "umm...no, not at all". But some of us would say "OMG, he is so cute/handsome" and she'll say "he looks 'ugly.'" I wish I was like that. I won't have to be jealous of anybody, lol. But yea, she's insecure from her past relationship. It's understandable, but she really needs to come to terms that this is a new relationship with a new man.

I especially hated when they asked the gf to compare her bf to that ladies husband. That was rude and uncalled for. Its Korean culture to mention someones physical looks that's why they are always body and self conscious and worried about what someone will think about them. They don't mind fat shaming you and we can see it through how they always make fun of Yeongja and her love for food. Plus the standard of beauty in Korea is so not the boyfriend that's why no one pressed the buzzer for his looks. Anyway, the girlfriend is obsessive. If you want to be that obsessive, don't bring that behaviour into your workplace or you'll be transferred to a different hospital; at least I want to believe that's how it is done in SK. It's not even normal to get jealous of all the women he works with or comes across. If I were the boyfriend, I will run away from her while I have the chance. An obsessive person can become violent, stalk you and worst case kill you because they will not like to share you with anyone else. A relationship is for two people to be happy and not one person being happy and the other suffocating because of the other persons behaviour. Hopefully she becomes less obsessive because getting married to an obsessive person is like getting married to your stalker, none ends well.

Secondly, it doesn’t even matter who started the relationship. It takes two to tango. Did she not give him her phone number? Did she not text him back and show up at dates? Are you trying to tell me he demanded his way into her life? As an adult, she should have known better than to consensually begin a new relationship if she was so ‘protective.’ She needs to ‘protect’ herself and figure out her own life before getting involved with any other person. first of all it does matter who started the relationship, because if the guy was the first to start it, it would be natural for him to persuade her since she stated that she had trust issues because of her past , and he knew that yet was with her, so it's not her fault since she didn't become this way out of no where. He was extremely insecure, jealous, accused me of cheating on him before he even met me etc. He would belittle me, thought he was smarter than me because I wasn't in a "smart" field (I was in healthcare and he was in computer science). The last time He told me I had "big arms" and had "greasy hair", omg I could go on and on lol. Actually I was a little like her after my bf cheated on me so I can see why she feels like that. What i have learned from others relationships is that when someone wants to cheat, they can fo it even in front of you in yoir house and you will not notice it. A little jealousy here and there is harmless, but the way she's behaving is beyond that. I hate that she's expecting change from him even though she recognizes that her behavior is a bit excessive. She needs to find a way to stop feeling so insecure before she settles down with him. Trust is an important part of a relationship and obviously, she doesn't trust him at all. I hope they fix this issue before tying the knot.

In Korea is common to talk about people looks like that, if you watch a Korean show you should understand their point of view on things, we can't expect them to think like Westerners, for us it might be disrespectful but not for them, same way they find disrespectful not talking formally to someone 1 year older than you. I feel like they shame people on there looks to much. Not just with this but when certain people come on the show there all like ohhh so pretty, good-looking and skinny. I know it's cultural difference but that's probably a big reason why people are so self conscious and obsessed with always looking "perfect" Please note this is my opinion
