I just took my squire classic vibe telecaster, and I stripped everything out of it and put 900$ of fender parts and it plays like a gem. I put the 1952 no caster pickups in it and it just sounds so good. It is a great thing to make a parts caster. I would suggest something like this to anybody. :)

Nice to see another fellow owner. You don't see many of these out in the wild. I picked one up a few years ago with original case and case candy, have enjoyed every minute with it. Also thinking of selling, but not because its a bad guitar, I will actually miss it, but I really want a Duesenberg Falken and guitars must be sold to fund that!

I have a 76 les paul and took the t-tops out. I know it hurts the value, but good god I couldn't stand how those pups sounded.

I think they sound great, just not so much for the higher gain stuff I like to play.
