If nobody buys Xyla Phoney you need to have her do all your outros from now on. Alternatively I might swoop in and outbid whoever is about to win the auction, then I can give her back to you so she can do more outros. It's a win win imo

I hope that everything sells for top dollar so that you can have the funds to make your future projects a reality. I follow so many different creators that make some amazing stuff that’s kinda one-off or ‘I made this! and now it goes into a storage unit somewhere’ and I’ve had the idea for awhile of some sort of exploratorium like space that adopts these projects to allow people to see and/or play with them first hand.

Putting yourself out there on a channel is hard just as is, but trying to openly sell your projects must be beyond nerve-wracking. There seems to always be someone out there looking for an excuse to bring someone else down. Kudos for being honest about how hard the job is and how uncomfortable you feel about doing this. This is the much better option compared to trashing the stuff or a yard sale. You put the work in, and I like the idea of getting one last bit of tangible reward from it on top of direct channel revenue (which I know is often smaller than the audience thinks).

When I was watching Derek's video and it came to the part where you were showing off the final model I remember thinking that if you were to ever sell your scientific artwork I'd definitely like to be there for that auction. Dude, signed stuff is worth more, so you should've signed the kayak, but behind the top opening part (whatever it's called) so it's like a tramp stamp!
@DrewNorthup
@DrewNorthup 2 жыл бұрын
In her defense, the only good way to "sign" a boat is too heat stamp it…which can't really be done once the fiberglass has set. Permanent markers really aren't that permanent on the outside of fiberglass either. (And before you say it, technically the "inside"of the cockpit is "outside" of the fiberglass.)
@UpLateGeek
