Yeh it’s one of these things and I’m really silly and again I’ll learn from yet another weekly or daily mistake. Frustration yes but if you guys can support me as I open up about these flaws and mistakes I am very grateful maybe it can teach you to be more careful than I was.

Accidents happen, especially when we rush or are doing too many things at once. Sometimes it takes a split second mistake to make you stop and realize you need to take your time. The people at Orange Terrace Hostel have met you, spent time with you, so they will understand. Plus, you're already making it up to them by shouting their praises and providing their social media information. I hope Apple can resurrect something for you, but if not, sharing your experiences with us even without video is still something. Try not to beat yourself up too much. You're still aces!

We all make frustrating mistakes. One if mine was, I took some amazing photos at a graveyard in my family town. I was talking to Indian Liza ( she's a Native American that lived in Brownsville, Oregon) and I was taking photos of her gravestone. I got home and was learning to download the photos on the computer. It asked if loading was done and erase photos. I hit yes. I lost all my photos. Including the one of Liza's stone, with a whisky hand that only showed up on the computer. You are only human, so don't beat yourself up too bad. You talk passionately an out the hostel, which shows you have lots of love and respect for them. Love you Daniel💖

Honestly, dont beat yourself man. We all make little and big mistakes but we learn from them to further r awareness as well skills. I totally understand what u feeling. I get those same feelings when i dont finish certain works or address issues ontime. Best thing to do is always remind yourself that your best is always great no matter what.

Mate I honestly know this feeling far too well. I'm a digital artist and there have been a number of times where I hadn't saved my art for a long while and suddenly my program crashes, losing hours of work usually. It's frustrating as hell and honestly the best thing i do is listen to music, watch movies and browse the net, all of these sometimes relating to the art i lost just to get me back into the mood. But mate all the best, take care of yourself and don't burn yourself out

It always stinks and is so frustrating when you put the time in and are proud of the work you have done and then lose it in one fashion or another. If you cannot get the footage recovered, I’m certain the people at the hostel will appreciate all the wonderful things you have said and all the “likes” you have sent them! They are still being made aware of to SO many people through your video! What remains is that you are ALWAYS bringing positive aspects, promoting “good vibes,” and generally all around encouraging all of us to be better humans and love ourselves and one another! I know it sucks to lose all the stuff you worked so hard on. But you don't deserve to beat yourself up over it sweetie. And I know it is easier said then done. I once lost a little less then half of the novel I was working on because my computer got a virus and had to be completely wiped clean. I hated and berated myself for days, but it didn't bring back all the chapters I lost. See if any of it was automatically backed to your cloud, did you send anyone any of the videos you took? Ooh, I'm so sorry!!! 😥💗💗💗 This has happened to me, it's awful ❤ 😭 I plugged in my ipod to a computer to add new music & it instead synced to that computer's library. I lost 56 gigs of music and photos. That was my entire music collection 😵 Recently we lost our home, pets & all belongings in a fire. Getting through that loss & the grieving process has been difficult. A few weeks ago, I realized that the book I had been writing, the last 5 chapters were only saved on my son's iPad, never uploaded anywhere else. iPad was lost in the fire. That was painful. Gut punch. At some point, I am going to have to re write all of that. Right now, it's too difficult. So I'm stepping back for now & will be try again later. This is painful to experience... Losing the irreplaceable things in life - objects can always replaced eventually.... Living things cannot. No amount of money can buy back your art, passion & craft. This cannot be replaced 😭 So sorry you lost the footage 💗 Take your time. Breathe. Shake it off but don't let anyone demand you get over it or forget it. We all go through awful things. Life is NOT a "Tragedy" pissing contest. Be there for each other & don't compare, pick apart or mock someone else's painful experience 💗✌

Omg how frustrating!! Iv done the same thing and it was definitely heartbreaking because I lost pictures of my kids that are irreplaceable! I also lost pictures of positive pregnancy tests that were before our miscarriage that was all we had as a visual memory. But we just move on. Sounds like another opportunity to make some new footage... Maybe you can ask them for footage to help you promote them. Ask them for a picture of the tree? It’s okay to not have the footage.
