There I absolutely NO F'ING WAY Locke was able to go toe to toe with the chief, he may have been in and is now Spartan, but the chief was trained to be a killing badass since he was 7. Spartan 2 are stronger, faster and more resilient than any Spartan 4 would ever be. Even buck, who was ODST so we know he's seen some shit, but LOCKE!? He wasn't even a soldier prior to his Spartan augmentations, he was an assignment director for ONI who wrote one real report we know of, and that's Thel Vadumme's fleet, soldier count, kill count, rank, and fleet size after he suggested to the board to assassinate him. He doesn't deserve shit to be in here and I am pissed about the fact he's done nothing and yet was accepted into the Spartan program and can go toe to toe with the chief in his iconic near indestructible mjolnir armor and his shielding he's constantly upgrading that, while Halo 5, regenerates at the speed of sound and can take at least 3 if not, 4 Spartan punches.

​@@creamycorn2734 actually no. 343 just fucked up on the design cause they can't take time to separate blue team and the S4's. according to the books and non-drawn lore, if blue team is obviously still acting like the spartans they are they would get the best gear possible. which for S2's is mjolnir MKVII with nanite integrated combat adjustments. aka outside combat the armor will actually alter itself to fit it's wearers combat style better as well as run repairs and also simply keep track of their performance to help them be better. mjolnir gen2 which is what the S4's wear is a joke. it relies HEAVILY on the padding of the undersuit and has so many grab points and openings no respectable spartan should wear it. it relies on the wearer actually BEING a spartan. like an S2. not the S4's which were grunts, officer, and mostly ODST's that thought the armor and augments made them spartans. like how hoea or however you spell his name went off on his own in that one cut scene regardless of demarco's orders and repeatedly calling him back. so no. he doesn't have better armor and even if he did he would be smaller, lighter, and like russian dog said, chief could have punted him off that damn platform even in armor. case in point jorge LIFTING six and carrying him to the edge of the corvette with little to no effort. that was in ACTUAL mjolnir armor in both cases. not gen2. so if jorge can do that, think how light locke would be with such little armor? the only reason they were actually going toe to toe is the fact the chief LET HIM. if they actually were in a death match lock would have been laid out in a heartbeat and wouldn't be getting back up. likely his armor did save him. the chiefs conditioning put him on the same respect level as a spartan. also those punches would have DESTROYED ODST gear and lets not even get started with MP marine gear. and ontop of that cheif wouldnt have just clothes lined him and knocked him out. he would never kill another human that does not have the same intent towards him. it's not in his conditioning. sorry that just...that triggered me cause 343 fucked up so much specifically i think for this fight to try and put the two of them on the same playing field but they weren't even in the same league.
