Buying the business would have been a very good offer to blessing . Because in the process of working under Paul, she will definitely be gathering good investment ideas , connections and the same time good market base . Well she needs more coaching on investment honestly! Well done

She should just have taken the money, sometimes unguided passion makes us take wrong decisions. What are the odds? She loses her company but can syill go into the fashion world with a different model with the money sge gets She will also be able to pay the investor, who is more particular about his money than the business so just pay him off She gets a job and extra cash Saying No was a wrong decision😢

Hmmmmmm.........I feel all lions said the same issue, but no one gave a little advice on the solution or way ahead......well, I hope she finds the best route to take in scaling and achieve her dreams.....

People are saying why didn't she accepts the 200m offer from the lion Don't forget she already has an investor worth 5m for 15 percentage of the company so selling won't help her either Good luck to her

I don’t like it when you tell a young entrepreneur that her business has no future. That’s highly unfair

It doesn't matter what you like (in terms of the truth), the truth is the truth and there should be no emotion attached to business. If she's convinced beyond the critics she'll do well in the long run

I know a lot of people breaking through because of a striking sentence and she received some, i will say there must growth. Blessing i know this will cause a boom soon. Grow in the industry if you are willing and i know you bounce back strong.

She business needs more structure and a clearer vision. She needs to be more realistic, a N200 M so early is ambitious. However, I don't think her business model is not scalable. If everyone think 'inside the box' there would be little to no innovations.

Well, Lion Adenike is one to talk about this, this business quite relies on some not sustainable factor. As a scalable business it might not go so much beyond her circle and influence.

Her business is gotten from waste How many waste does she have access to? For her to make profits, the more volume she can produce, the more money she can make Volume is the reason why her business isn’t scalable Can she produce 70,000 units from the waste? Or 100,000 or over a million She also added later on that she plans on outsourcing materials just like every business in the fashion industry does. But their decision was based on what she proposed to them at first Hope you get it?

It is not scalable because each fabric should have a design that suit it best. So you can get different types of fabric to scale a design. And wanting to scale different designs is quite exhausting and unrealistic. If I find a shirt on sale and I request for it and I am told that particular fabric is sold out, if I ask for another same answer, I will believe the business owner is not ready for business. The only line that goes with this is cotoure wears and you cannot make cotoure wear from fabrics that are almost like rags. 😢😢

I am here thinking why she did not accept the 200m offer to buy off the business? That was a good deal. She may be could have countered with a 10% equity retension giving up 90% and retaining 10%. On the part of working for Mr.Paul, she would later negotiate the terms of their partnership during the due diligence process.

Immediately she said her company will still use normal materials for more output instead of her regular Aba materials... she lost her Selling Point Losing a selling point then your business have no purpose anymore Then she declined 200m total acquisition Can't you negotiate at least for equity?? Goof luck to her though, I wish her success
