Britt, I hope you all noticed that those little washer like things on Karlach's shoulders also light up too so you might want to add that to the heart (the screen shows the heart and the shoulders lighting at the same time so you would need just one circuit and not several). Just thought I would let you know that if you haven't seen that.

I'm not into role playing games, but it doesn't prevent me from thinking that this character is indeed very cool looking ! I have absolutely no doubt that with all your knowledge, all your skills, all your experience and all your tools, you'll successfully make this cosplay. It really does help to break it down into smaller steps (tail, ears, gauntlets etc...) and it makes it appear a lot more doable than the whole costume in one shot. I sincerely wish you a lot of courage for this build ! When I have a big project to get into and that I feel like "man, this is too much", I always remember to tell myself "ok, let's get into it for a bit and then we'll see" and that's how I always realize that the hardest is to start the project. Once you've started it, it kinda flows until the end. And for Bill, I could suggest a cosplay of Fat Mike from NOFX :D just some colored hair, shorts and a tshirt (or maybe a dress), a chain necklace and a bass guitar, and boom! you're done! :D As always, thank you for the video! Can't wait to see the next one! Cheers from France! Stay safe ; )

Very nice! For the glowing heart you could try out a flexible micro fresnel lense (like from any backlit notebook display/monitor or so). They can give the illusion of greater distance of the source of light and also magnifiy it. Maybe you could create the illusion that the source of the light is inside the chest and not on top of it and at the same time save on LEDs? Those lenses are usually very cheap and you can cut them with scissors. Just an idea...

Good luck. having just finished a 3 year build for a fully motorized, operator-on-the-inside, electro-mechanical Dalek its time to start a new build - a full Halo Master Chief outfit and try to be ready for Orlando MegaCon In Feb 2025 - should be epic. Knowing nothing about the Halo universe until a month ago I've been on a vertical learning curve and am now ready to do the costume planning. I learned very quickly that his undersuit has almost no prior screen accurate work done so the first order of business was to create that. Once the undersuit is complete only then can i start on the armor since to ensure its sized corrcetly I need to have my measurements with the undersuit on. Currently I'm doing a lot of sketching using show screen shots
