I’m Still Standing Ukulele Play Along

For educational use. Optimized for GCEA ukulele. Key of Cm and C. Raised a whole step from the original (Bbm and Bb). This is an updated video, just for the intro slide and the description. Sadly, you cannot update a video with a new version on KZbin. I left a link to this video on the original video.
As performed by Taron Egerton in “Sing.” I had originally had Taron Egerton's name wrong, and a number of people wrote comments to complain about it.
My boys enjoyed Sing and frequently sing this song. I had started working on but moved on to other videos. Katie Denure (One Music School) posted a tutorial today ( • I'm Still Standing - E... ), which inspired me to wrap up this video. I took away some of the fast Ab Bb C changes that occur at the end of some phrases...feel free to add them back in your own practice. This video offers some good Barre chord practice (partial and full) with Cm, Ab, and Bb.

You gotta practice the more advanced chord shapes so that the muscles in your hands can develop muscle memory. Practice the shape and transitioning into and out of it until you start to get it. It took me a couple of weeks of practicing to get the Ab chord right. Good luck!

Try DDUDDU. I try to avoid offering strumming patterns because there is no right answer, and because some teachers and group leaders want to tell their group how to play the videos in a different way than I might suggest.

Thanks! I had really messed up “Taron Edgerton” (or autocorrect did) on the original, and people were so incredibly rude about it that I updated the play along. You can’t just re-upload a video with the same name like you can with Google Drive (And I wish you could). But it’s probably time to delete that original one.
