\I'm still waiting on my Fuji X100vi Camera

I never had a Fuji camera before so I put my name on the preorder waitlist for the x100v back in October at my local camera shop. Then fuji announced the x100vi and discontinued the x100v. I transferred my name over to the x100vi preorder waitlist and I got mine two weeks after the release date.

I placed my order with BH at 120 in the morning. Like you I was hyped for this camera. But I got sceptical that I would see it before summer. We'll I just got the email from BH that mine shipped out. I feel your pain though man. Hopefully you'll get some good news soon.

if you haven't tried, maybe recording 1 time in 4K horizontal, and then use the 3rds guidelines to frame yourself in the center. this way that center frame is also your vertical video when cropped in post. Also i was just at BH haha so many people stopped at the table asking if in stock.

I’d prefer to turn my camera when I’m Shooting vertical. The quality is actually better to me. But yeah they need to drop this camera already

Like you said I think Fuji is using the back order to create more of a want for the camera. Sucks but it’s definitely working and making the camera a hot commodity. Still, I think they underestimated how many orders they would actually have.

Yep I actually do get bothered that my shoe size is the first to be sold out every time. Nobody should have to wait in a line at 4am just to get a shoe.
