The delicious irony you'll make even more from talking about Kuon in this video 😂. Sold my copy of Lollipop Chainsaw for £100 recently, put the money into my new PC build, so it is worthwhile keeping old games.

I have noticed some games are expensive because they have demand and are not rare. Pokemon Soul Silver on DS, it sold millions but it goes for £100. Silent hill games sold well but demand a high price not because of rarity but demand. What would happen if Konami made a master collection of the original games? The value could go down. Now let's look at Kuon, it's a rare game and didnt sell well so therefore it has a high price. The market is unpredictable. Companies like Limited Run Games could make Kuon or for example a rare Spiderman game more accessible and re release it. The value would plummet.

So whilst it's probably not wise for everybody to start becoming collectors, due to him being a content creator, collecting makes him more money than he spends.

re: door rattling, look into something called a portable door lock, it can secured the door shut, the original product was called the easylock but im not sure if it has been discontinued or not so alot of cheap knockoffs flooded the market but the originl was quite high quality ps make sure your door frame hole dimensions are correct, i had to chisel out the door frame hole by a few mm because the hole wasnt long enough

In November, CeX is actually increasing the 2 year warranty to a 5 year warranty. Pretty cool imo.

I am guessing Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3 and 360 versions) will be sought after by collectors (and keep its value) because the rereleased version does not have all the original licensed music and probably due to other technical aspects that exist in the original versions. Kuon released on current gen platforms would nice to see, although I would prefer to see a straight port or remaster over a remake - at least the option to emulate is there.

I’m glad CoD is on gamepass this year just because the campaign is all I care for much nowadays. I actually did enjoy the BO6 beta but mostly the online is rubbish now in CoD, too many sweats.

Remakes don’t usually affect the original product, it’s a remake, meaning built from the ground up. The Resident evil trilogy on ps1 are roughly £25 each. However they all have remakes. Same example you can point to is Silent Hill 2, the game keeps on going up in price. Remasters sometimes affect the price of a game. Take Stubbs the zombie, that game has drastically gone down in price because of its physical remaster. Physical being the key word there. Unless it’s a physical remaster, the price doesn’t really go down. That’s why copies of Lollipop Chainsaw for ps3 and Xbox 360 are the price that they are despite being a decade old, while also having a remaster with everything in the original intact. Also look at Kuon as a whole. There are not many copies on ps2. We can use Silent Hill Shattered memories as an example. The Wii version last time I checked was about £45 but the ps2 version is about £200+. That’s because it’s limited availability on that particular platform. Disc rot is a manufaturing error and usually occurs in double sided discs sigle sided dvd's & CD's are usually not effected unless it was made in certain factories so if you don't have the fault on your discs you never will. It's usually on the disc when you get it so could be present on a sealed product which is usually a music Cd or movie that is double sided, I wouldn't worry too much because if you are never opening your sealed games then you will never know and it is highly unlikely many years down the line whoever gets your sealed games will open them due to tgem being extremely rare and valuable if left sealed 😊 You only make money on anything if you sell it, this goes for your house too 😊

Question: I got a Platinum disk in a non Platinum game case in CEX. Can I just go back and ask for the correct disk? Guess it would need to be at the store I bought it from right? Is this the same for game disks that don't work within the warranty? I have already taken the stickers off tho :S

Agree with all the COD stuff, but with it coming to game pass I will be installing and will be one of those games to hop on when got a bit of time or if mates want to play. Doent seem to be many other arcade like shooters anymore

Just a bit of feedback here, just because you own a game on PS2, it doesn't make it legal to download and emulate the gamecube version. It's probably not the best idea to admit to piracy in a country where it's not legal.

Disc rot is real a disc has 10 years at most and there also expensive to make, that's why digital is the new way forward

True but it is unlikely that a large amount will get it, in 50 years, or even 100 years. Il probably Sell of my collection at somepoint, but not now like decades from now. like if i am lucky i reach my elder years (trust me it is not a garuntee as i already almost died twice in my life). Than i could sell em and would probably make my money back and than some even with inflation, especially since a large portion of my games i buy em way cheaper than CIB prices. If not il just leave em to my relatives to enjoy the benefit, either way, i have several decades worth of gaming entertainment to keep me busy. Also yeah the irony, you made enough money back to buy 3 kuons over just from the tiktok and youtube videos alone, that guy was just a jealous idiote XD
