I love this game show, used to watch this on the Family Channel (then ABC Family Channel, now Freeform) in reruns a long time ago. It’s like the brother/sister version of the Newlywed Game.

Yeah, I always considered the Pick-a-Prize arcade to been one of the harder, if not the harder game show bonus rounds. Also the max score of 425 is quite impressive

Just one of three episodes where a perfect 425 was scored. Yje other two happened on both Brothers Day episodes.

Shuki Levy and Haim Saban were the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis or L.A. and Babyface of children’s programming as they provided the music to shows like “Heathcliff”, “Inspector Gadget”, “Kidd Video”, and this show.

I feel like I know these people 😅, they look familiar. These episodes are deeply ingrained in my brain.

I've always wondered what actually happens to the contestants when they get transported from the stage. On television you see those colourful laser beams shoot down on them and then go back up without either the boys or the girls, but with people of whom were present at the studio watching the live show, what do they see? Do they just see either the boys or girls step behind the places where they sit? Somebody enlighten me please! ~Dutch

I believe they cut the recording, have the siblings who were to be "transported" go off stage where they cannot hear the answers, and the recording has the effect added to save time.

If it's anything like the unsold pilot Pandemonium which did something similar, they just stop tape and the isolated player is taken offstage. The beams were likely added in post. Come to think of it, I used to work at a public access station doing some work for a local talk show, one guest brought her 3 year old girl and since we ran way ahead of schedule our producer made that girl's day teaching her how to disappear, but getting her to touch her nose and we all played it up. He showed her a tape he secretly edited on which she disappeared. And let her keep a copy.

This is a spinoff of the newlywed game but, it is associated with siblings.

Not a spinoff. Saban Productions produced the show while Chuck Barris created and produced TNG.
