Owned one myself. For a fairly cheap family car (killer bargain on second hand old models), the Honda has a great rev happy engine (7000 rpm no less) that was way too good for that old grandpa chassis - for such a sporty engine, the chassis was hopeless at corners and aided in said handling by baby shoe sized malnutritioned skinny tires that gave up long before you did. The old ones had a low dash and brought the road closer. So it was some fun when the Vtech really kicked in at 4000 revs, felt like a turbo finally spooled up, but then it wobbled all over the place at high speeds. The engine however is so good for a family car that Honda hasn't changed it in 15 years now, just uprating it every few years for newer emissions norms. Ran forever past a decade and I only ever changed the oil.. And yeah, 40 kmph on my dashboard would be right where 100 kmph in the Chiron is. The Chiron could top my old car's vmax in 6 seconds from a standing start.
