and learning the actual facts about how 100 billion land animals are forced into existence every year to be confined tortured mutilated and massacred while still babies for our eating habit that we CAN VERY WELL DO WITHOUT - in fact we will become healthier if we stop stuffing our faces with saturated laden tortured flesh...
@genericsidecharacter8915
@genericsidecharacter8915 Жыл бұрын
@@animalsarebeautifulpeople3094 I mean yeah, I agree that the treatment of animals in the food industry is garbage. Only with more high quality, whole foods they will actually give the animals lives of luxury. Also, it is quite pitiful of an existence to be a live just to be eaten. However, humans are genetically and evolutionarily not meant to only eat plants. You can if you want to, but it just is not as convenient when trying to get the required nutrients as it is getting them from meats. Also, humans are at the top of the food chain. Since we are highly intelligent creatures, we tend to forget that we are still animals of Earth and creatures in the food chain of the world. And as animals at the top of the food chain, it’s actually quite kind that we will carefully take care of species lower on the food chain. Like look at lions. They just hunt and eat zebras. They most likely believe that zebras exist in this world to be their food. But that’s just how it is. That’s how life on Earth works.

When you're in the middle of it the only thing you're really thinking of is how you're going to strike them down one moment to the next, but then something comes along, some sort of intervention or cease fire (Like this interview) and the reality is that both sides are fighting for what they genuinely believe to be the best cause, you don't agree with them, you're still essentially enemies, but there's like a warrior's honor of sorts, a respect for their resolve.

I love when Oompa does videos like this. With Nick, he kind of showed us how much of a different person he is, and actually made me kind of like him. Same with Miss Katie. Her views are still extreme in nature, but with all that aside, she seems to be an enjoyable person. She's not evil or a terrible human, she just has very passionate views that vastly differ from the majority of us. I still don't respect how she feels she needs to convert people, but this showed her in a very different light than what she's usually given

I would even go so far as to say her "extreme" views aren't even all that extreme. I think they're just framed in the absolute most inflammatory was possible by her word choice. It's not that I'd agree with well, any of it...but I live in Florida and hearing truly insane word diarrhea is just any given Tuesday at this point. Being exposed to so much nonsense on a regular basis has kind of shifted my views on whats actually crazy. Or, raised the bar maybe. @Max Agius Seems like you missed the point. The image that has been built around these two, together and individually, would not leave you expecting they would be able to just sit down and be cordial. That image has been fabricated and exaggerated by the internet. They could easily feed into this and choose to be combative and ridicule each other. Instead, they chose to act like real civilized people. That is saying a lot for something online these days. Caleb shows real concern and interest in the topics they discuss, the Vegan Teacher, (apologize for not knowing her name,) can have fun and set aside the things that people have come to attack her for. It is completely different for one to converse with someone they see regularly in real life compared to the content we consume that is created for our entertainment and to receive more views. To close, it is refreshing to see individuals, that could otherwise create content great for a quick laugh and some gag reels, showing that there can be humor while still having serious impactful discussion.

I love Caleb. He can interview anyone and get along with them. He has honestly helped me be more open-minded about other peoples views. Instead of being hateful I can now accept that they see things differently and that’s okay. Even when hate is thrown at you, that does not make it right for you to throw it back. Thank you, Caleb. ❤

I like how Caleb can bring people who appear insane online and help bring their human traits to the internet. I still don't entirely agree with her, but being able to see the more human sides of ThatVeganTeacher makes me understand what she's doing a little better. like she's attacking celebrities, but it's to spread her message, not because she's just a crazy person also, props to Caleb for being strong enough to do that, and not shoot her down, but have a rational conversation with reasoning being exchanged and some sort of understanding being formed

This video has completely changed my point of view in life, alongside a majority of Caleb’s other interviews or star appearances. Before watching this, not only with That Vegan Teacher but with anyone I failed to understand that at the end of the day everyone is still a creator and should not be shunned for it. Getting to know someone who I so distinctly disliked for so long without even knowing them (clearly) completely changed how I see people on the internet. I think that Oompaville has finally beat his “golden age” content, the ones that predated when he became a react channel in 2019.

This video is absolutely mesmerizing. It is so interesting the level at which Caleb will work to curate such a fluid and responsive interview! Honestly I didn't like the vegan teacher before but after this I have a new found respect for her, tbh if she ever changes her content up a little then I could watch her. The responses were thought out and charming. Caleb was also able to set up a very comfortable atmosphere for two people with a spotty past. One of the best interviews I've seen lol ❤️

I know it's an older vido, but I do enjoy watching these interviews. The way you are respectful to how you ask questions and her responses is something I can appriciate. While I dont agree with all her views and some of her opinions did irriatate me, I still enjoy listening/watching as you debate and talk about some of these topics. It's a bit sad that she thinks in such a black and wite way until you point out the little flaws in what she says that doesnt align with the things she ties to say but none the less i think she could actually take some of what she learned and apply it to the way she comes out with the things she wants to say. Thanks for the vid, I did enjoy it.

Yes and it really goes to show how much of an impact social media influence has on our own personal perspective. Like we might not even realize it and jump on a bandwagon and ostracize another human being because everyone else does. Its like a social experiment. This video and the ben of the week one, it just made me realize that this isn't a hateful woman, and that she is *just another human being that I tend to disagree with on some things.

she is so problematic though, forcing other people to join your belief is honestly sickening. Even if she's just "playing around" or doing this for views, still weird. She's even said insensitive things, like saying the n-word (hard r at that), holocaust references, etc. There are so much ways to spread veganism without forcing it onto people. Sorry if I wrote too much, I just have a strong opinion on this.

@@cmhyperviper1174 I’m not saying advocating for innocent animals is wrong, she has every right to do that. But, she does it in a way that is just so problematic. She just reacts to random videos on youtube and says, “okay I understand that you helped 100 people but there are still animals getting hurt and killed.” It’s like.. what 💀. Besides, veganism and anti racism are two different things. One is literally fighting for the rights of HUMAN BEINGS while the other is just fighting for animals rights. Neither are wrong but just so different. She has so many ways to spread her belief yet all she does is “if you eat meat you are a horrible person.”

Dude. You have a talent. You have a way of disarming some of the most dislikable people and bringing out another side to them that shows the complexity of each individual. It is a genuinely special ability that even skilled interviewers are unable to do. I can't tell you enough how much it fascinates me! I feel like your genuine character, your ability to do a flying lead change between teasing and serious, stuns them into dropping their pretenses.🤣🤣 It is so refreshing! Plus you are intelligent enough to come up with unique questions that actually make them think, laugh, and dig deep. Really great job, I mean it.
