Prosperity, SC's town center has a good layout and a nice, peaceful, well-used town center. Timothy, "Rainy Season" is the short horror story by Stephen King that you mention during your walk/talk tour of Prosperity, SC. It was first published in the Spring 1989 issue of Midnight Graffiti magazine. The story is a good example of a saying old folks of yesteryear used to say to people who wouldn't listen when encouraged not to do something: "A hard head makes a soft behind." Which is a colloquial way of warning people that being stubborn or resistant to advice or correction can result in negative and/severe consequences. In the story, the frogs horrifically killed the hardheaded couple.
