I was at Matala last week and didn't know the history behind this song untill i started googling about the town. I didn't appreciate the song before, now i have a good memory about a beautiful holiday in Greece whenever i hear it. Great, GREAT version of the song!

This makes me so happy bc I am old & I have been listening to Joni Mitchell since "Clouds" first came out & trying so hard to sound like her (FAIL!), and knowing one day (but hopefully not soon) we will have to give Joni back to the Goddess... Thanks to these 3 young women (who I also love listening to separately for their own siren-call ways), if there are still any people left on Earth by then they will get to hear Joni's music sung right 🗽

Not easy to sing. Those octave jumps were easy for Joni, but you can see the strain on their faces. Early Joni vocals were almost like Yodeling.
