I have my hats going on the beat and when I go to hit a crash sound & it cuts it off way early. Like it won't play the full sound because of the hats hitting (As with MANY other percussion sounds) I went and made sure everything was hitting POLY on the editor, but that didn't work. Idk what the problem is? This hasn't happened to me before and idk what I tweaked on the software but something ain't right! Can you please help me?! Thank you so much for your time, brother 🙏

Was a good video for sure but I have one extra point, I'm on mobile internet and tethering My phone to My laptop is My internet so I dont have the ability to do long livestreams from home but that online service dont use up My own data while its running and that's its main value and definitely worth the price considering the cost of internet service to stream 24 7.

I think that's actually the first time I learned how they and now you do 24 hour streams, I assumed it was from a home computer and didn't think about a remote service, that's actually good for Me because I am on Mobile internet and dont have the data allowance to do long livestreams at home.

You can just create your own virtual machine! Logging in and out from some unknown source is not recommended, if you have to, make sure to remove that device from your account and change the password as you never know if it came with a keylogger lol

Signing into that with my Google I'd be sussed out, they could sniff your password easily and you put a lot of trust in them. I'd probably bundle all the files I need and my stream key into a Google Drive folder that's shared for "anyone with the link." Then on the server I'd access that without logging in. Then the worst case scenario is they have my stream key that I could reset if something goes wrong. Minimizing attack vector. It's paranoid for sure, but what do you expect? I'm a cyber security student.

@Ave Mcree I realized my message could be read wrong. I apologize. I'm sure tons of people setup like this and it's the easiest way, but it isn't as secure in my opinion. I don't mean to be rude or sound accusatory. I want to help everyone stay secure online. If you don't think it's worth it to do all that, perfectly fine. I admit, it's extra steps. Let me clarify... "Trust" means something specific in security. From Zscaler: "At its core, the concept of Zero Trust is simple: assume everything is hostile." You want to give the minimum access necessary for things to still do their job. For example, you want an editor to upload videos. You shouldn't "trust" them with your password. Regardless of their character, it gives them unrestricted access to everything you use through Google. Why "trust" them not to abuse (or get hacked themselves), when you can give them only the limited access they need to do their job? That being instead of password sharing, you can add their Google account as a manager to the channel. This Zero Trust idea applies with setting up the server. You can put everything you need and the stream key into a shared Google Drive link and access that on the server without "trusting" them with your Google password. Yeah, it's extra steps, but the more secure option isn't always the easiest.

Oh, and there's the clipboard button on the top left to paste in your Google Drive link since copy and pasting doesn't work automatically. Instead of putting the stream key in the folder with assets or signing into KZbin, it can be pasted in OBS with that feature. They used to have it where you could directly upload files from the screen view, but I heard they removed it.

I asked her for recommendations for online storage and she advised me to do Dropbox over Google drive because of all the ways Google uses our personal info and don't even realize (like FB). anyhow, I have been considering hiring someone from fiverr who has their own server for 24/7 live stream. He said 2 options to coordinate: 1.) either I send him the YT key for OBS/YT connection; OR 2.) make him a "limited editor" (permissions) in my YT channel. any thoughts the better option from security standpoint?

couldn't you use linode or aws with linux? might be alot cheaper. OBS streams to YT and everyone is connecting to the YT server to take the load. IDK how much bandwidth streaming to YT takes though. Thanks for demo on the software!

You'll likely get copyright striked which can lead to your channel being banned. You can probably play copyright free music though the only issue is usually that music sucks and no one really listens to it

It's easier to just pay for a VPS in a data center than deal with power backup, cooling, Internet backup, and everything. They have a server in Myanmar based off that Google login page in the video, so you don't have to pay for an expensive server in America or Europe. If you are a tech boomer, I can see how this is easier, but something tells me they markup the cost for the ease of use. Maybe I'm wrong, but you could probably find a similar machine for cheaper.

Hay Ave. I just wanted to ask 2:49 - here you mention that i should have a family plan for spotify. I just wanted to get some clarification on what you meant by that. So for example: I should have a family plan spotify profile and name it "24 hour" and have 5 other account for what exactly? | wouldn't it still work if I created a description playlist(non-24 hour) through my artist profile. AND THEN got a single spotify subscription through my personal email for 24 hour playback(which I'll never use personally). What I'm saying is that the link in description playlist is a static playlist from my artist profile which I don't have to pay for, If I'm not mistaken. | The 24 hour playback playlist has to be premium so that there are no ads I get that.
