Insomniac didn’t add the cape for the same reason they didn’t add the trench coat for Spider-Man noir. The ps4 isn’t powerful (or optimized) enough to handle the advanced motion physics of loose clothing and objects. It’s why most of the women had either short, or tied up hair. That is no longer a problem with the ps5 so they let Mj have her hair down and gave us some caped spidermen costume

Well he doesn't look Spider-Man because he's supposed to be different. I mean the talons and the arm blades show he's not like his dimensional counterparts. Miles looks like Spider-Man becuase he has the same abilities like most of the spider society, he just has two bonus abilities camouflage and venom. Miguel on the other hand has no spider sense, cant stick to walls so he has to use his talons, fangs, and hightened senses which is why he usually wears shades when in the daylight. But that is why i believe Miguel looks totally different and im glad he does. And im not saying every spider totem has a different design to the suits based on the powers of what they have. Its just thats what im getting when i see Miguel.

As a Die hard spiderman 2099 fan I gotta say I respect your Opinion of the design of His Costume But I Love his Look In the comics Cause it makes him super different Then other spider man and I believe Miguel was the 1st Spider man created outside of Peter Parker For the spider verse

Im glad Miguel's suit is different from Peter's suit. His suit design is simple. However u made it look like Iron Spider 2099. ATSV 2099 only made a few changes while keeping it as close to the original. Don't overdesign man. I do agree with you on the fact that they need to show his web cape more too. Lastly I'll say ur design doesnt look like the trash we get from the MCU Spidey suits minus the Final Swing Suit

I love his suit, and I prefer the solid, unbroken color. I would only add color by putting red on the soles of his feet but I have always loved Spider suits with that sleek look down to the feet like Superior Spider-Man, Miles Morales etc. Also I prefer rhe simplicity of the cape being white. Adding the yellow competes with the red and blue and detracts from the darker look the costume was going form

I love how the small details really improve this suit, such as the abdomen of the spider forming the skull yet it looks both like a spider and skull. And you brought back the web cape.😮‍💨

It’s super weird when people say the suit looks better black but like… it’s still not spider man. Also the shading stuff is stupid. If the 2099 black suit was actually black then why is it shaded the same way the blue is on regular spider man? Either the 2099 black suit was a stupid name or the artist didn’t know how to differentiate them.

1.) Regular Spider-Man's suit was also supposed to be red and black, and is now blue for the same reason Miguel's shit is blue. The way comics were colored for a long time was to use blue highlights to give dimension to black. And if you follow the idea that "It's colored blue in the comics then it should be blue" then Venom should be a bright azure instead of black because he was colored the same way. 2.) Why does the suit being black and red instead of blue and red make it not Spider-Man? There's plenty of spider suits that aren't black and red.

I agree with some of what you said. I like your design of 2099, the red on the bottom I love and I believe is a great touch! I’m new to cosplaying would it be ok if I cosplay as somewhat of your design of 2099 to the original? I would add the red fabric to his legs, use a white web cape instead of yellow like you did. Keep the eyes like in the video games and red arrows down his arms. For his logo I might change into a creepy spider you like did or leave it alone as a skull. I would like you permission if that’s ok?
