That's true but I respect it more when someone doesn't pull their punches and if that's what is required to call someone out, to really drive in the message, then it's a necessary evil, in the best way possible. Muta said it multiple times, he's a big boy. He can handle it. Keep in mind, it was in good faith, it wasn't toxic or spiteful, he didn't tear Muta down in any way shape or form or attack his character as a whole. It's not hard to take off the tinted lens and see things as they are, you just gotta step outside and get some sun, go feel the warm breeze, the waves on the beach (if you're able to). Lastly, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the person who made that post has some integrity and isn't just _emboldened_ on reddit.

@@koganeitounot pulling the punches isn't the same as being uncivil. I think the disrespectful tone and strong language was more out of passion than any real malice. People have a tendency to use stronger language when speaking about something they feel strongly about, which happens on both sides to the emotional spectrum not just on the negative side.

@@GameKnight404 I didn’t think this needed to be said, but it’s possible to be both kind and passionate at the same time. Even if you are arguing against a stance that is mistaken or you don’t agree with. I think you’d need a better excuse to be rude to someone

This is by far best "apology video" I've seen. I find it strange that so many find it very hard to admit and talk about making mistakes. We all make mistakes every day and most of them are nothing to dwell on. However, once in a while we make mistakes that may be worth talking about, and if those mistakes affect other people in a negative way it is important to own the mistakes and to apologize. It makes you feel so much better and most people have no problem forgiving you making mistakes as long as you acknowledge it and ask for forgiveness.

There are a hundred reasons why I watch Muta and have for years. This is one of them. Honestly W reddit post, and what Muta said is a very good point that many seemed to ignore when jumping to conclusions, and it's pretty much what I was gonna say. The part about how the dude wouldn't have posted if he wasn't a subscriber who enjoys Muta's content and went so far as to join the subreddit. To me, that's a REAL fan, with some personality and substance. Shit, if you can't respect that, is your respect worth much at all? It's more meaningful imo when someone is real enough to not pull any punches. No growth comes from coddling, and I get fanboyism, but people putting their idol on a pedestal is just weird to me. Yes, praise the good they do, acknowledge their accomplishments and achievements. But never forget they are human too. This is certainly why Muta said he is deserving of the disrespect/criticism and that he, a human being, made a mistake. And that yes it is a redeemable one.

Microsoft, hear me out. You train AI models with human inputs from accounts with good history and no reports. Every time you get a report for cheating, record the controller inputs and use that against your trained model. You can't keep people from modifying shit so you have to use signatures from the gameplay. They can get so many legit player samples that it should not be difficult to differentiate from the cheaters controller input. They can also install a certificate in the controller but that would be a countermeasure at best compared to what they can get from data analytics.
@Distracted_Productions Жыл бұрын
If you can make that happen, Microsoft would probably buy your IP for a few million. You can't train AI to detect cheating, it only works in CSGO because of spin botting for example. Valve has tried many times and has failed.

Muta thank you for talking about this. I was a leaderboard ranked player for Apex Legends on Xbox, I’ve played it since launch week and I quit playing it last year due to the vast amounts of cheating that went unpunished. It’s to the point on console where nearly every FPS game has been overrun with these cheaters. Xbox is 2 years too late, and they still haven’t even fixed the exploit that these cheating devices use.

I still maintain that physical will likely still be available unless console manufacturers get rid of it. Simply for the fact that those who value physical over digital are more likely to pay more. See persona 4 golden limited run. Further, Sony releasing a separate disk drive for the new digital ps5 also suggests at least some commitment to physical.

I mean you "deserve" to be corrected when you make a mistake, but I'm not sure about the whole disrespect stuff. You can also tell someone they're wrong in a civil, respectful way. Well, at least I can.

People will preach about how "it's okay to make mistakes" but rarely will you ever meet someone who will admit to making a mistake and follow through with the effort to correct it when it's their turn to do so. This video alone makes me want to vote for you to be the next judge, president, or any position of power this is what integrity looks like, and it is a rare sight.

I dont think saying "i understand why they did it" is akin to saying "they're doing it for our own good". Glad you learned something from him, because he seems like a jackass from the word "GO"

Yeah, it's perfectly possible to understand why someone does something, and that "why" can be entirely "because they're stupid/greedy/malicious".
