I made a Creative Film about a Folding phone (OnePlus Open)

When @oneplus asked me to make something for the launch of their newest phone the “open” I decided to use this as an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and make a short film as well as most of the music in it as well. It was a month of experimentation, learning new things, late nights (a good amount of all nighters), successes and failures but through it all reigniting my love for story telling and creating.

Wooow this is insanity!! Even though I know your work, I expected another phone ad with a few dope transitions - but this is such a masterpiece! There's soo much I loved about that, the deep colors, the mounted cameras, the visual storytelling, the macro shots, pacing and rhythm, match cuts, the lighting setups (the projector at 1:10 🔥) and did you even put in some anamorphic footage (like at 1:25)? If I now ever want to show anyone who Sam Kolder is, this one probably replaces "The creative process", which was the video I always used to show people 😄
