I Made a Frost Build That Absolutely CHUNKS! (Project Ascension - Season 9)

Still working on the build guys, when i recorded this i was wearing full blue gear (pvp gear even) so i can imagine this reaching 20k+ crits AOE on the deep freeze
Dont all reroll to this so ascension doesent nerf it :)

@@KippoKupo the build is not very good these days, they nerfed winds of winter to the ground, and in compensation are buffing ice lance for some reason

Freezing strikes and stormstrike in the combination and this could be 100% uptime on fingers of frost. Will give this a try, looks very interesting.

Nice video! One thing to note is that arctic winds does make feep freeze hit more enemies, however deep freeze only deals damage uf the target is immune to stuns. Since usually only bosses are immune, you'll only deal damage to 1 target anyways, which makes it pretty useless. Taking ice floes or in your bullds case flash freeze would be wayyy better

@@Sneptics_Official yeah, if you read deep freezes' ingame text it says deals damage if the enemy can't be stunned, cause otherwise they'll just get stunned for 5 seconds.

Definitely gonna try this build out with my own twist. Btw I was trying a spellchance build and randomly rolled windfury weapon which made my combo points stack up almost instantly with one handed weapons, so I was pretty much having 5 combo points constantly. Gonna have to try it with a 2H weapon, anyways good video

Need that rogue talent near the bottom of assassination that resets slice and dice to 5 point duration whenever you use a finisher.

This is a build I theory crafted 2 weeks ago and realized I don't have slice and ice. I still don't. I have almost every card... I wanted to use Maelstrom combo Power loop though. Alts farming call boards and gold for bazar tokens for call boards... Currently pushing a Holy fire Exorcist slash One with the Light. So much synergy.

Not sure if they changed it since but I tried Exorcists Slash with OWTL a couple of weeks after launch and sadly exorcist slash counts as physical damage and gets reduced, so the synergy isn't as great as it seems

there are also good symbiotics with frostbrand weapon and as Finger of Frost generator u can use stormstrike . atleast i played white walker like this in season 8

If you go int main stat for this build I'd replace mental quickness with flash freeze, 45% more damage on winds of winter.

Card packs, ascension DB is down so i cant even check the list for you, but when it comes back up you should check to see if it has a discovered location (Also dont go slice and ice, its not worth it at all, i learned a ton of stuff since making this video, ill go over it in a part 2)

Is there a way to include Lava Freeze and LAva Fueled Frost, (lava lash hits give ice lance and cone of cold 20% stacks x3) and Lava Fueled Frost ( lava lash restores fingers of frost charge) EDIT cant be done, need 1 handed weapon D: with lava lash snap

There is yes, ur not wrong. You can drop slice and ice and instead go mutilate for more combo point generation and then you should be able to use lava lash as well. Its a variation i will def have to try
