Please note this is by no means a complete tierlist, community feedback is welcome!
I tried putting together a list of the best builds in ascension season 9 atm. It is mostly based on my testing, what I've seen other playing, and some theorycrafting.

Also wanna say, although going for one of these builds is important to guarantee you can do high end content for gear, don't lose hope on whatever stew of a build you did by yourself, those can get decent numbers too. I am playing this frot caster with frozen chaos and deep freeze talents, I cam dish out 50-60k aoe on 5 units and about 18k st and I haven't seen any1 using this... juat brew around whatever talent looks cool ans go with it

Corrupted Maelstrom Weapon with lava sweep and eclipse strike / fel cleave can push very high level manastorm with the self-healing from soul leech, go fast fast fast and farm cards to roll all the fire melee stuff like seething flames, and segue to a top lava sweep pve. For manastorm farm I'm experimenting with dark apotheosis with just shadowflame claws to support it and plate armor.

Interrogators immolate with the infinite burn+corrupted maelstrom+overheated strikes/elemental destruction/primordial fury is also a strong hybrid build, not sure if it's room to mix with elemental rend but there might be. It's strong on its own imo, only annoying thing is only 25% chance to proc instant immolate so you might have to wait to cast elemental immolate.. Always start with the immolate cast on fight start because of the low chance to proc

The Damage Potential of some builds is way higher when fully rolled and proper played. Fuego for example does easily 45k ST, Righteous Radiance too. (In raid) You could also Add Shadow Visions/Endless Agony .. Super Hard to roll, Super Hard to play, but does 50k dps on the dummy without raid buffs. Funny about it on Spirit with Vampire Lord it also does 30k Dps and has decent hps 2k-3k. For me every spec is the same to roll since you need about 5k Scrolls for each build to be playable to have 95% of that build ready to play.

So glad you liked it! Yes I would say so, 40k st is top tier dps that will be the highest in most groups you are in, above 40k you are going to god tier S+++ :))

Don’t have that much knowledge on all those builds sir, it is requires a lot of work to think and imagine how to test a build and conclude what is best. It’s a sandbox game for you to discover, I just made some suggestions :)

For the SMF enrage upkeep. Why not use the enraging finale talent from the dark intent section here? Titanic Strike is a finishing move, so would that not keep up enrage constantly?

There's a few reasons but most important is that you want to only use combo points to keep up Fancy Footwork (+5% physical damage) and to proc the titan's rage once every 20sec (if you have 500/500 rage). The reason is cause your main damage source, Bloodthirst, has a legendary talent that gives it +25% more damage when you are on 5/5 combo points --> so you want to stay on 5/5 combo points as much of the time as possible. Other talent, whirl of rage, is just better because you anyways press whirlwind for tools of war so you proc more bloodrages and get more rage generation if you need it

You have to roll it sadly :((. Not sure what starters tbh, mbe lighting bolt, earth shock, life tap, arcane int? If you play it for manastorm i'd go with charge mbe

@@Vxlvxt I got Cloudburst, it drops from Gilmorian in Swamp of Sorrows. I took Lightning Bolt, Earth shock, Arcane Intellect and Stormstrike for my starters. I don't have controlled storm so I took Stone Shard instead. I wish I would have taken Chain Lightning as I haven't been able to roll it and I am level 40, lol. Thank you for getting back to me :)

Just to let you know, Fuego and Pyroblast isn't nice to use together as they share CDs, so when you use Fuego, Pyro goes on a 4sec cd too. So when you are hot streaking, you won't be able to spam your Pyro's if you weave Fuego in there. Been there xD

If u use fuego to proc the 5th stack of righteous radiance, then cast holy fire, then cast scorch/fireblast, CD goes away, u get normal pyro, into fuego again. This allows you to get the combust buff (which benefits 2 mage spells) on FUEGO and PYRO, so its giga nice + you have 2 dots running. This is the rotation for using both.

I see, I haven't tried with the whole Radiance package yet, might have to give that a try, been mainly playing hot streak hot hands :3 the 4 cd cucks you hard when you keep proccing hot streak with no filler for the cd, breaks the flow a little ^_^" @@Vxlvxt

ah, I see, I have never really played with the radiance setup, definitely will give that a try then. Atm I just play with the Hot Streak and Hot Hands and those 4secs just cuck you hard with the flow, especially when you use scorch again and hear another hotstreak going off and you just can't press pyro, so you pres another scorch to fill and hear another hotstreak proc, just F xD

Titan's grip would have to be required to use a polearm and have an offhand, do note Titan's grip does allow for you to have a weapon held in off hand with a polearm, it just cant be a two handed weapon

One variant is Polearm+axe off hand i guess. But i think the most popular variant is just without polearm or titan;s grip and u just play with pure chaos bolt and corrupted maelstrom

For the Phalanx Strike version TG is pretty much required, or you can I guess find something other than Double Down, but TG does not allow you to wield 2 polearms, you do Polearm and whatever hardest hitting one handed weapon you have (Actual damage not DPS). Taking Phalanx Strike and not using TG is honestly just worse than playing the non Phalanx Strike version.

How did yo uget the Scrolls - Overheated Strikes, Hateful Strike, Southpaw Strike and Overheating Strikes? They are in the database but no info as to where to get them. Not in the "known locations" list either.

Your tier list is kind of messed up. Imps top meters. Guru zerker SMF was only seeing those numbers from one guy and he hit exodia build (that was pre-nerf). He’s now struggling to do 40k ST.
