its probably a very dumbed down version of an actual rasterizer, basically do the projection on a fixed set of vertices and lerp the texture coordinates at each on screen pixel would be my guess.

it only retextures redstone dots so it isnt too bad everything looks normal as long as you avoid using dots anywhere but the screen

Amazing! Supposed you didn't care about space; couldn't you use the map technique for a truly vanilla color screen? Also is the block shrinking while zooming in or is that just me? (After counting the pixels, I think it is just me.)

Using redstone dust for the color is really smart. But how did you stop it from connecting?

I believe the redstone dust has a 2x2 model, so every pixel is 2x2. This way the dusts don't connect but the pixels still touch.

@@MrMultimanoffical sammy DID make mc in mc, but this is the first demo of IRIS ever. pretty impressive considering it has color 3d with textures, no? also chungus 2 doesn't really matter anymore, sammy is working on chungus 3. plus, rom sizes in bytes don't really matter that much in the redstone world, what matters more is how many lines a program can have.
