There's so much to process. Watching the living room manifest, step by craftsy step is pretty exciting but watching her supervising her new place growing into that perfect cat environment is priceless. It's like she's saying, "Yup. That's great. This is comfy. I'm so into the gallery wall." To see her at the end, watching her new tablet is priceless. Watching her, as she watches you, is indescribable fun. She's a smart little girl. The CDS chose well.

Couple minutes in and I thought of an idea for the couch. You mentioned in your shorts you want the fabric removal for washing. Why not put elastic on the bottom to hold the fabric down or cut the pieces and use velcro? Just a couple ideas 😊

As one of the people who voted against the wallpaper, I want to say it's cuz it looks purple in a lot of the footage. Grey goes amazing! It just looked purple and that would be pretty clashy with the rest of your color scheme if only used in that one place. It turned out fantastic tho!!💚💚 Eta: the "wet" look could be achieved with a clear coat/lacquer! Which is a good idea anyway for longevity

Tilly was 100% meant to be YOUR cat! You intuitively know what she’s going to like/love. I hate to say it but I think it’s time to upgrade Tilly’s “TV” to a larger size. The distribution system sent me the wrong cat😢😢😢. She rarely meows, doesn’t purr, has never sat on a lap, and loves dogs. She stands at the foot of the driveway between five and seven pm to say hello to her doggy friends as they walk by.

My husband is a NO more cats guy. So of cours the system gave her a hand in rescuing a cat from a busy road. Traffic both directions was stopped for a moment. So to make up for that she now has a young chihuahua that ACTS like a catl😅😂

I think this is so cute. I would love to do this for my cats, but I would go through all the work and they probably wouldn’t lay there. I have gotten them a few beds and they just aren’t tempted to lay in them. Maybe they need the full sofa! 🤣

2 things stuck out to me with the mod podge pics. One was needing to mod podge over it again. But before that stage, you need to do an especially good job of sticking it down. Kinda like that peel and stick wall paper. It’s a fun project!

​​@@Jmara401 a large number of Siberian cats are hypoallergenic. You have to go through a groomer though, and let them know so they can consider your allergies when showing you kittens. My hubby and I have 2 boys with super sweet and affectionate temperaments which is common in that breed of cats. My hubby was a dog person before and didn't like cats...but now he himself tells everyone he's become a cat person. 😂❤

Does she still likes to sit by the door to go out they have catios that you can go buy and put together and put by a window and she can go in and out and she never leaves the yard we have rescued 30 cats we have 26 now they have diabetes been hit by cars abused by humans starved you name it and we have two giant catios that my husband built we have 15 that are senior citizens and three of them found this last September they were starving and had special needs they all three are brothers we have a window that they can go out we have a small shed with Cat boxes in it that go through the window in the back and they go and use the litter box and come back through the window and go out through another window

From what I remember from my media class in art school, they key to mod podge photo transfer is you gotta _really_ glob it on thick and then once you have it on the surface, you've gotta take something flat and hard like a popsicle stick and _completely_ flatten it down so there's absolutely no air gaps. It's also better to use a soft sponge instead of a cloth to remove the paper because it holds more water and you really want to dissolve away the paper rather than rub it away. The living room is sooooooooo cute, Tilly is such a lucky kitty 🥰

So happy Tilly found you guys. Cats bring such joy to a house a lot of the time. They’re such complex animals that have almost super abilities both physically and emotionally. I have three cats that found me and I them through the cat distribution system and they’re all such fun to interact with as I watch them interact with each other as well. Nami, Miko and Haku are my girls and my house has become theirs too only making me richer for it. I absolutely love your little Tilly living room, very cute. Hilarious. I will not be showing this video to hubby. We have five indoor cats (all feral rescues) three rescue dogs and 20 chickens. We have a very large home and it literally is a critter castle. I call hubby Noah Doolittle. He has even transported five skunks (one at a time) to a beautiful stream under a bridge in the country. I can just see hubby wanting me to get our cats tablets. They already play at games on my iPad. Love the video.

Tilly is very lucky to have you as her momma! ❣️ I’ve used the mod podge transfer technique before in a collage class - we used big sponges and essentially soaked the paper off very gently. It was kinda like, the more water & less rubbing the better if I remember that right. So maybe the towel was a bit too abrasive? Also I think we just used regular mod podge too, not the photo transfer kind. Anyways, I definitely had a good amount of fails/pilling etc though! There’s definitely a delicate touch needed :)

This is quite possibly my favorite video on the internet!!! It was so calming and inspirational. I'm definitely going to make my cat a little living room whenever I get my own space in the future. Plus I love how Tilly is so smart and just knows things like what's hers off the bat and just full on uses them right away. If I do this for my cat in the future I hope he's at the least half as grateful as Tilly was.
