Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! I should really use Little Bob more than I do. It's a lovely ink! x

I like using cotton buds for larger swatches, saves a lot of time ^^. Oh, the tomoe river is delicious!! I love writing on my hobonichi. You have a really nice collection of inks!

Thanks for showing off these interesting inks on your ink-book. Question: why would you not rather use thick sketch paper (150-300 grams) to prevent bulges and bleeding? Kind regards, Patrick

That's a good question Patrick! My gut instinct would be that the inks would likely bleed more as the heavier GSM papers tend to be rougher and fountain pen ink does better on a smoother paper (which is why I thought the Archer and Olive paper would work originally). The Tomoe River paper I've used here is roughly 70 GSM, the Archer and Olive I used in the last video was 160 GSM. I'm loading a lot of ink on the paper when I do the little swatches which causes the bulging and ghosting, when you write 'normally' you don't put so much down in one go so it's not a problem generally. x

@IllustriousShadowPlans I am using Canson Mixed Media paper, it's 300 gsm and works excellently if you want to make individual swatch cards😊

@@tanjablume6343 Oh thank you! That's very useful to know. Unfortunately I just donated my Canson MM pad as I didn't use it very often. Doh! x
