You are a real trooper. It is so hard to function when you are sick I’m glad that you made it through it and learned a few things yourself. It is great that your “hubby” was there to support you. I hope you will try teaching again and used your new found knowledge.

What a cute way to use the images! Also, poor you! It’s miserable to be sick when you are away from home and working. Been there. I feel for you. Such good fortune that Eric could go with and is such a great help. I’m happy that story time is back. 😊

Wow, that was quite a trip. You are such a generous person to be so concerned that your students feel they got value from your classes. I’d imagine not a single person left feeling short changed. You gave your very best despite feeling like you know what. Bless you and I hope you will still teach in person sometime. I’d love to attend an in person class with you. I’m keeping fingers crossed you might be available for a day at CREATE in Columbus. Your card today is adorable. I always wondered what our dogs dreamed about! P.S. I’d say your husband is a keeper!! ❤️

The card is adorable! Nothing is worse than having to work or perform when you are feeling absolutely horrible. My husband and I were camping ( in an RV) when I got sick. I could not even stay in the RV and sleep. I felt so awful that we had to “pull up camp” and go home. What a fun weekend that was!

Loved the card and I often think my cat does this very thing of dreaming about what he is going to do. His name is Rascal and surely thinks of all those "rascal" things to do. Glad your class went well even though you got sick. Yes, most people think us New Englanders are cold and stuffy but we're really nice and care about everyone. Jen is the best. Thanks for another great card.

That card is so cute. I am so sorry you got sick on your teaching weekend. And plus your anxiety and flying. I just feel bad for you. You do have a great husband! For him to take over your class for a bit, that was really a nice thing.

Oh Kelly, I’m so sorry that you were sick during your classes. Hopefully it’s just your body adjusting to the new medications and the side effects/symptoms will subside. I take a boatload of meds for pain management and some of the side effects have been absolutely insane. They haven’t completely stopped, but are milder and I have better techniques to minimize them. I’m also incredibly proud of you for finding the inner strength to push yourself through your anxiety to teach these classes. Maybe for future classes you can simply some techniques so everyone can complete the project, but have some additional steps for more advanced students. As someone who has been crafting for over 25 years, I get very picky about classes I take because I DO feel like I don’t learn anything new. Seeing a blurb on the class description that says something like “more advanced techniques provided for experienced crafters will be available in this class” would make me much more likely to take a class of any type.

Sorry m catching this late storms knocked everything out up here in NH. I am so sorry that you got so sick but believe me just to be taught by you in and out was more than enough for all of your followers. I’m happy to hear you both had at least Sunday the Cape is a Beautiful place you should try it mid summer now thats a perfect time to be there. Love your card 💜💐💐💐💐💐

I got so excited because the colors looked right again, even your rings looked the beautiful gold again, but then I remembered you said this video was made a while ago, so must have been before your new camera/lighting. At least that confirms to me that it isn’t my devices that’s the issue. I absolutely LOVE this card, though! What a cute idea

Your husband and you are a great team and you certainly dealt with more than normal adversity on this trip. Eric teaching part of class will be a great story for all the students. I also love the card. My lab and lab mix dream this way for sure.

Cute card! Sorry you got sick on your trip. I think we all have had a similar situation of getting sick at the worse time. Glad you finally felt better so you could at least enjoy some time with Eric.

When I started my current anti-anxiety med, I remember my body just going down the list of possible side effects one by one. On the plus side, I had a roadmap laid out for the week but I do remember the nausea being especially bad. Appreciate hearing about your (literal and figurative) journey. Really looking forward to the Secret Garden retreat in May!

There’s a large heating pad that’s almost like a small blanket that I use when I have chills. It would be perfect for traveling. Love this card! 😊😊😊😊

Your description of being sick, all of the symptoms sound exactly like my anxiety. If the social thing is something I want to do, I push myself to get through it. But that sickness is real and it can and does happen at anytime. I feel your pain. It’s really not fun.

Long Covid? I, as do many, cycle through flu-like symptoms for 1-2 days, and feel encased in cement for a brief period, swing between freezing and burning up, among other crap. Just listening to your story sent me under the blankies! PS: love the card. 🐾 ❤

I think it was good you colored his butt in the sky, the depth of putting a layer over the original dog is neat and looks very nice. It really looks like he is sitting off the card. ❤ Also, glad you’re doing better, thanks for the card!
