This video was oddly pleasing to watch. No speed lapse editing, didn’t skip steps but didn’t show everything in painfully minute detail and no funky music. And the end product was beautiful.

Angle grinder, files, sandpaper and a small saw aren't that expensive. The machine on wich I make bevels is a homemade machine for grindin woodworking planer blades(but you can make em on an angle grinder, You just have to try a bit different approach).

Hey man what is the machine you use to grind your bevels ? Or how is it made, looks like a great tool

what did you spray at the last of the video?

Clear coat lacquer. It was the only thing I had. Could have used oil. If it was stabilized I would't have to use anything.

@AndreAndre-yd5gw3 жыл бұрын
@Make&Test No need to harden as saw blades are already hardened and if you did not heat the metal up too much while working on it the hardening is good enough.

kašno plastiko si dal med lesom in železom, kakšno je to lepilo in kaj si dal zraven lepila (neko črno stvar) drugače pa zelo lep izdelek

Plastiko sem odrezal iz enega majhnega koša za smeti. Namazal z dvokomponentim epoksi lepilom in dodal pigment v prahu.
@SuperHolzOfen5 жыл бұрын
isn't the wood too soft?
@MakeAndTest5 жыл бұрын
The wood is maple and its a hard wood. But it is true that I didn't stabilize it. The blade itself is not heat treated too. It's all because the knife was made for display purpose only, or maybe for opening letters. I'm in no way of supporting the true purpose of such a knife(dagger). I'll do a useful knife project in the next couple of videos.
