The FPP unicorn is fantastic! I’m so impressed because there has to be 1,000+ tiny pieces. The colors work together really well. Even more impressive is that it laid flat! You keep notching the bar higher.

Beautiful, I love the central unicorn - and the night sky background is perfect. I made a horse quilt for my granddaughter last year, with a central panel of a painted horse surrounded by5 rows of 4" squares in black and bright horses .... I might do another, but bordering the small squares with night sky and placing them on point - little unicorn stars. There Dave. Your ideas fertalise our ideas and we create new things. Well done again.

When using a polyester batting (actually any batting) take it out of the package and let it Relax the day before using it. That should take out mist folds and creases. I am a quilter /seamstress and I’m obsessed with watching your videos. I’m too much of a perfectionist and I need to just be happy with the results and move on the the next ufo projects. You inspire this 72 yoa woman. Thank you !

I'm a huge perfectionist too... I think the way my videos are edited makes it look like I work in a straight line from beginning to end... in this quilt I was not happy with the way I originally sandwiched and quilted it so I took the whole thing apart and did it again although I was sick of filming at that point so none of that made the video😅😂 I get comments pretty often complimenting the way I call it good enough and move on, but in reality I am almost *never* happy with the results 😅
