I love it !!!!! I used to spend alot of time thrift shopping. I literally bought yards and yards of curtain material. Most of the old ones are made with beautiful fabrics and can we talk yardage??? Yep there is alot of it. I'm glad you saw that IKEA fabric and was able to show another use for it. 🙂🙂🙂

I made a slinky black bat wing dress (in the 80’s) out of a pair of curtains, the front of the curtains was this awful brown colour but the wrong side of the fabric was a high gloss black. It was thick fabric too, so I was warm and toasty in a U.K. winter whilst other girls were freezing their butts off.

You could do a whole themed series: making garments with items that aren't traditionally used to make clothing, but fall within the same theme. Like a 50s house wife dress out of table cloths and dish towels. And definitely do a xena look. You will look fabulous!
