This is a great meat-and-potatoes translation. I like the emphasis on criticals -- that visualizes nicely as turning enemies to ashe, which is still one of my favorite special effects ever.

Choosing not to use Blood Hunter because of it not being allowed at some tables? Blade as a Dhampir Blood Hunter with at least 2 Fighter levels for Action Surge makes a lot of sense to me. You can flavour Order of the Ghost Slayer to focus on vampire slaying

What's fun is I am playing a Vampire-Hunter Vampire (reflavored Dhampir) Paladin in Curse of Strahd. He's based on the Dark Knight class from Final Fantasy XIV. So will be Vengeance Paladin + Echo Knight Fighter (with a little Celestial Warlock for role-play reasons). Sadly, his Echo won't come online until end of the campaign, but it will be fun.

I have a request if you take them here, a mini spaceship like the DS9 episode they shrunk the runabout or like that mini saucer in the attic from twilight zone. I always figured a floating/flying warforged with a self-sustaining crew aboard, but could scan with search, fire energy weapons with elderich blast, fireball for torpedo, mage hand for tractorbeam, etc. Minus the being able to wield weapons/armor/shields...it would instead use other means for shielding.

Samurai or Basseterre, you can make a case for either one besides champion, but those are definitely the top three archetypes of blade as a fighter fighter the other thing I was going to say was gloom stalker stalker stalker would be a good choice for a ranger for him

This actually already happened in the comics, and Morbius biting him is actually the reason why he gained the FULL access to all of the vampires strengths and none of their weaknesses. ~_~

@@majinsole8554 My bad, I mean a versus in both Epic Freaks Rap Battle and with the two builds. In comics It was a temporal boost for Blade. Every Marvel VS couple always get even or in friendly terms so no fan get disappointed.

Blade, man...I can't watch these movies (way too graphic), but I don't mind the character. Hey, here's a suggestion for a build: the panicky blond guy from Demon Slayer (I can never remember his name). I would guess he'd get at least one level in Barbarian, because I figure you could explain his "panic so hard he suddenly gets really powerful" as going into Rage.

😂 I love the ice skating quote! That has always been one of my top 10 cheesy lines in an action movie. If you want to make a real Damphir / Vampire Hunter you should try to build D. (Vampire Hunter D) That build will be a bit more challenging and have more depth.
