.....How does this thing actually fire? Can't believe I never asked that before until seeing the model up close.

It's a weird one. It seems that the two half's split apart and the centre opens up into a wider disk that fires them or something. I don't think it would work mechanically irl with the bullets being split up by the gap in the middle. I love gg's figure placer and gallery, as they give great reference for projects like this.

there is a 3D printable version that’s been around for a while that people have made IRL

i wouldn't be suprised if the blender model could be exported to a CNC machine and made of billet aluminum

He should really update the title so people know its in blender and not real life.

That’s really cool. I actually want to make this one into an STL file but I don’t know where to start really? I haven’t 3D printed before
@nargames Жыл бұрын
@BLANK_OW_ Well I can do it, I used to be a freelance cad dev. If you can split it into multiple parts for me I can work on it so to speak for printers.

@@nargames what are the requirements for topology? This model is made for game use or animation so the tri count is lower. For 3D printing, do I need to increase this or adjust anything with Boolean’s, or is it fine to just slit the model up?

@@nargames also thank you for the offer. When I get round to doing it I may ask for your help with it, if u don’t mind

@@nargames Yo, I might impulse buy a 3D printer. Which one do you Recommend?
