In the memory of my wife, because she loved it: VELVET SOUP. Good anyway for this time of the year 😁 There are just a few mom&pop restaurants they cook it here in town, with the closest from us being 22 miles away. We used to drive there 2-3 times a month for that soup, that she could enjoy it. Thank you!

Can't you just fry up cheese potatoes n whatever else aka the topping in the pan instead of baking it first? I'd just rather make a pot roast then fry up whatever I want in the crust then bake it off... The other seems unnecessary... Definitely will be replicating this new twist on cottage pie 😊
