You can make Camilla hate both Sven and Faendal. Get a letter from one then show it to the other. The other will give you a new letter. Then pickpocket the original. Give both to Camilla and she will hate both her suitors.

Hmm technically the theme is making the 'worst' choices rather than the most evil, so by that reasoning I'd say he should've picked Imperial since they have the least beneficial starting racials. And an Imperial joining the Stormcloaks and leading them to victory just sounds chaotic funny.

Personally I think the most bad way to go about the Sadia quest is to get the reward from Kematu, kill him, and then Kill Sadia, you get both rewards and they both die lolx

While Faendal is the better choice between him and Sven from a practical standpoint, I would argue that Sven and Camilla are genuinely a better match. The two of them are already openly flirting with each other, and Camilla mentions to the Dragonborn that Sven writes her romantic poetry. Meanwhile, Faendal barely if ever talks to her and feels more like a stalker than a suitor.

Sven is even worse than explained. He has TWO jobs, barding at the Sleeping Giant Inn and he's also working at the mill. But according to Hod, he shows up drunk to work often enough that when Gerdur calls him to come down from the mill, he asks "Sven drunk on the job again?". Also Faendal at least takes the time to figure out the best way to ruin Sven's chance- he knew that Sven writes to Camilla regularly, whereas Faendal never writes letters but Sven decides to use one anyway to try and convince Camilla. Honestly she should have seen right through it, all three of them are dumb.

And Sven's fake letter also throws Faendel in with the Thalmor, which is just needlessly spiteful even towards a sworn nemesis. Sven's mother also insinuates that Faendel steals from them because she's racist towards elves. I always go with Faendel, his archery (and tutoring of archery) is very useful especially at the beginning. Sven's letter is funnier though, I must admit.

In Ill met by moonlight you can kill the hunters, leave the cave to get the ring and then go back and kill Sinding aswell and obtain the armor. Even tho you get both rewards, it seems to be the worst thing to do

Before you kill Narfi on behalf of the Dark Brotherhood, you can pick up a quest where you find the body of his missing sister. If you tell Narfi that she's dead, you will ruin what little is left of him. At that point, killing him is merciful.

For the werewolf quest, you can get both if you kill all the hunter, then after getting the ring, kill and skin him, and also for the civil war choose the side you like less and when you get the crown betray them and give it to the other faction

So I'm currently doing a similar playthrough and have the Ebony blade. Apparently you just need to have helped them for it to count. If you've been to the Thalmor embassy, Erikur is considered friendly. Do what you will with that information...

on the old Sven/Thandal question, there's one misinterpretation that I feel is worth clearing up. Sven lives with his mother during a time in her life that can warrant a guardian to help her in her old age. I feel it's respectful of Sven to help his elderly mother like that in the absence of his father. That being said I still think Thandal would be better for Camilla, even though I think they're both underhanded enough to warrant stiffing them both if your truly RPing.

I think that joining the Stormcloaks are the lesser evil, because with the empire the Thalmor still will roam around Skyrim, invading homes and killing people, when you side with the Stormcloaks they are banned from Skyrim.

The empire signed the treaty because they had to tho, and its implied throughout that they did it to buy time and build up more strength. Don't forget, the thalmor are backing ulfric stormcloak because they know that if the stormcloaks win then it will not only weaken the empire but also isolate skyrim. A divided tamriel is easier for them to conquer completely rather than the stalemate we come into as the dragonborn

You do realize all races in skyrim treat each other badly the dark elves are worse than the stormcloaks they literally enslaved a race and acted oblivious to why they retaliated yall always say the stormcloaks are bad and no the thalmor do not want either to win they literally state in the dossier a stormcloak victory wouldnt be good either plus the thalmor wouldn't be able to take skyrim anyway as the high elves wouldn't be able to traverse the land as good as the nords skyrims land is harsh to literally any race that isnt a nord back to the stormcloak topic the stormcloaks dont treat the other races badly a high elf merchant literally explains that as long as they work and prove themselves useful the nords dont bother them and explain to me how the stormcloaks would even have a problem with them when literally their problem is with the high elf faction the thalmor so explain to me why theres a high elf living just fine in windhelm when they supposedly hate other races then when u join them ulfric isnt even the one with the problem galmar is ulfric is just like "you want to join? The Thalmor don't want the Stormcloaks to win. If the Stormcloaks win, they will be able to rebuild as an independent power that is not bound by the White Gold Concordat and ally with Hammerfell and what remains of the Empire. In other words, a Stormcloak victory means the Thalmor lose any control they had over Skyrim. They won't have free reign to kill Talos worshippers or influence Nord politics anymore. What the Thalmor want is for the war to drag on as long as possible and kill as many humans as possible so there are fewer to fight in the next Great War. Their dossier on Ulfric makes it clear that either side winning would be bad for them because it means no more bloodshed.

To be honest ratting cicero out i would argue is quite a good thing as not only are you arresting a tried assassin which granted failed but that meant that Loreius and his wife dies who many point at as Lucia (the homeless orphanage inside whiterun) uncle and it was they who kicked out her to the streets when Lucia´s family died so in theory you killed a horrible family and Gerold is obviously evil haha

The stormcloaks are definitely worse, yes the empire banned talos worship, but it was in service of ending the war and preventing the elves from capturing the white gold tower, something they need to literally end the world. Plus the empire doesn't even enforce the talos ban, multiple empire controlled cities have prominent talos shrines and no one does anything. If Ulfric just kept his head down for a few years while the empire rebuilt his strength, they'd make it fully legal again when they went back to war with the thalmor. The stormcloaks winning weakens both the empire and Skyrim, and the thalmor know this, which is why they have documents in game about how they're using him and purposefully extending the war just to make both sides easier to conquer. Plus, Ulfric himself is a racial supremacist. He wants to create an ethno state for nords, and kick out everyone else, including people who have lived in Skyrim for generations. Actively working to put him on the throne is evil.

An empire victory only seems likely through a prolonged military campaign. Honestly, the best outcome for both sides is for the empire to sue for peace. Wasting lives in Skyrim only results in a PO’d province and depleted forces for both parties. Recognizing Skyrim’s independence instead of forcing compliance could also lead to goodwill from the other kingdoms of men. An independent Skyrim could then help Hammerfell and High Rock with the Dominion, and the Dominion will be forced to split its attention between each kingdom giving the imperials a chance to focus on Valenwood and Elsweyr.

Killing partysnax isnt as bad as people make it out to be. After all you are the last Dragonborn so if Dragons are still alive after your death there is a chance for them to go for world domination again. Even our friend Parthurnax could decide to do this at some point. I honestly prefer to kill him. But also killing Delphine because she clearly forgot that her oder is to serve the Dragonborn not the other way around. Also at this point no one needs the blades anymore.

The 'right' side in the war is the Imperials - you don't have to take on faith that the stormcloaks are the one making Skyrim weaker against the Thalmor - you can consider the fact that they were the ones who hired Ulfric Stormcloak to cause trouble in the first place.

Was hoping the "Bad choices" would include putting perk points into the Lockpicking tree. I never could've come up with that ending to the Saadia quest. I'd say killing 2 of the 3 in the abandoned Shack is the worst choice. It's not just a guess, not even a murderhobo option, just indecisive with only 1 person left all by themselves. Not taking the Razor is the bad option. You miss out on a cool dagger, and the free source of daedra hearts and gold and other loot. Damn Akaviri barbarians that don't know their place. Based, choosing the Empire here.
