Even worse is the "reward" for killing Paarthurnax is the Greybeards hate you and you now get radiant quests to fight dragons... In a game where if you level up enough dragons are practically going to show up after every other dungeon or cave. Never done it. Never will. All my homies hate Delphine.

I have 5 more Cursed Choices 1. Sacrifice a follower to Boethiah 2. Kill your friends to power up the Ebony Blade 3. Help Ondolemar the Thalmor Agent, arrest a Talos worshipper. 4. Kill an NPC for the purpose of adopting their children 5. Kill your spouse, as the game doesn’t allow you to remarry.

A roundabout way to power up the Ebony blade without it being Cursed is the vampire lady who you kill the husband of in the Dark Brotherhood Quest. They are almost guaranteed to be killing their "guests." Essentially Chop wood for her. Somehow makes her your friend. Kill her and then ressurect her. Repeat until fully powered up. Works on ps4 at least.

The Rueful Axe is actually one of the worse weapons in the game. It has a mediocre effect and has the slowest swing rate of any two handed weapon in the game. Clavicus Vile is the “used car salesman of Nirn”. That axe 🪓 is a clunker.

The most cursed decision is forcing us to team up with the Blades. I've always hated this trope of "here's this mysterious/busybody character intruding upon you, you *will* obey or the main quest doesn't continue", but here it's just terrible, especially considering that Delphine not only steals the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller (how did she know we'd need it? How did she avoid the traps and the undead in Ustengrav? How did she leave?), she forces us on a runaround to a dragon grave (irrespective of our dragon shout/dragon killing progress), forces us on a pointless errand to the Thalmor Embassy, and is otherwise generally useless (Esbern at least has the required lore).

​@@votebarbie8445What are you on about? You get to choose between Parthurnax and the Blades later. Doing those missions for Delphine is part of discovering how the Dragons are awakening. The Blades aren't horrible at all, except when it comes to the matter of Parthurnax. That Thalmor embassy mission (one of the best missions in the game), is to determine what the Thalmor know, and is what leads you to discovering Esbern is even alive, and further crucial to the civil war plot, because you discover that Ulfric is a Thalmor agent. Besides the Jurgen Windcaller horn being stolen, which I agree was just dumb, the Blades are some of the best parts of the main story.

I feel like it's more than head cannon, because if I'm not mistaken, The AD has less control in Hammerfell than in Skyrim, and she's not being pursued by the Thalmore. So if she simply "spoke out against the AD" like she claims then staying in Hammerfell would probably be safer than moving to Skyrim. But if she "Sold out to the AD" then fleeing Hammerfell makes more sense.

That its just corrupt redguard politics. Even still my personal reason I Side with Saadia is simply because I don't like not having a complete answer. While it's more likely he's telling the truth I also can't risk the chance she is innocent. He's hanging out with bandits so even if he is not lying he ain't fully moral either.

I think it's also pretty cursed to start but not finish the Dawnguard and Dragonborn questlines. Random vampire attacks will kill your favorite NPCs and Miraak will gank your hard-earned dragon souls.

"Blood on the Ice" doesn't count imo. You're not really able to accuse anyone else and the Dragonborn can't possibly know ahead of time who is responsible unless you break the law and probably get caught. Even then the mission is bugged for alot of people. Sometimes you got to take what you can get. Also, visiting Markarth is cursed in general.

You can at least talk to the wizard and ignore your quest marker and then just go to the market and wait for Calixo. I found out you still have to let him do what he wants to do with his target or you get a bounty, but after that, just follow him to what will soon be your house and finish him there and you'll get the reward for solving the case.

Markarth is the most beautiful settlement in all of Skyrim. Especially with a few mods it's spectacular. Ok some weird shit goes on there but nothing a few fus ro dahs and smacks with a great sword can't solve

@mrlegkick91 Markarth looks beautiful and so does the entire Reach. My Vlindrel Hall looks like a private Dwemer museum and I'm proud of it. But that shrine to Molag Baal under the city is a perfect example and metaphor for how deep the corruption runs in the city. Even if the entire population was wiped out and replaced it would probably become corrupt again. I actually tried to purge the city and my game crashed, lol. Blood and silver.

Siding with the vampires in the Dawnguard quest line? Ok hear me out on this. It's mostly all the same quests anyway, you'll have the debuff of your health, magicka and stamina not regenerating (without regeneration enhancing armor or rings) and being reduced in the sunlight since you have to BECOME a vampire, you kill Harkon no matter what you do, being a vampire to access the Soul Cairn isn't necessary, AND you're gonna have vampire hunters after you for the rest of the game assuming you remain one. But being a werewolf player you may call me a little biased.

Honestly the choice to kill the dragon or join the blades was always a easy decision for me. First of Delphine doesn't get to demand anything. And i can't stand people who judge a entire race on what they are and don't look beyond that to see there might be good ones no matter how rare that may be. I left Sky Haven Temple and left them there to rot. Never gave them a second thought.

On the Redguard quest you can also meet Kematu outside of Whiterun, let him paralyze Saadia, accept your gold, then kill him. Saadia will then give you her reward too.

I kill them almost every time unless I'm Meta-gaming as a stormcloak...I'm usually an Imperial, but that damn Ulfric and his secrets makes the Civil war quest one of my least favorite that you almost have to complete... no good answer there..., because I loathe the Thalmor. Hell, I used to use a mod to destroy the Thieves Guild. Honestly becoming the Arch Mage is about the only good faction choice in the game--and the Dawnguard...even the Companions are twisted..

Another thing to note about killing Barbas, the axe you get for killing him has the lowest swing speed in the game, and because of it, has some of the lowest DPS in the game, especially for Daedric level weaponry, its just a bad deal. But it does admittedly have one of the cooler designs anyway, so i can see wanting it for a mantle decoration over the helmet.

I always make glitch poison with 5000+ seconds stun effect, for Delfine, Maven and so on. The cannibals always end up in my DB werewolf. Afeast for Hiercine.

The reason why I spare Erandur and let him destroy the staff is because the staff is just garbage compared to what skull of corruption was in oblivion, spawning a clone of your enemy. But now it's just another glorified damage staff with a sleep gimmick, and also Erandur reminds me so much of Joshua, well the voice is obvious but him being someone that looks for repentance.

Regarding Kematu and Saadia: according to the Skyrim lore, they are both lying. If you hand out Saadia to Kematu you can find her urn later in the Hall of the Dead. So Saadia wasn´t lying when she said that Kematu and his men are assassins. It is still unclear what Saadia is hiding and why the Redguards are after her. Maybe it is something personal or the Reduards are part (maybe a different kind) of a Dark Brotherhood. We´ll probably never know. Still the modders have access to all lore of the antagonists ingame and there it is said that both have something to hide. So maybe killing both is the right decision.

I regret destroying the db in my current playthrough bc i remembered you dont get cicero as a follower but you also dont get windshear which is one of the best weapons in the game. So now I'm gonna delete my save and start all over again 😂

The witcher 3: Let's put a lot of random NPC to populate the villages and the cities. Skyrim: Let's put just a few NPC per village and add a faction wich focus on kill them.

I actually sided to have Saadia taken. Her story didn’t add up at all. I’ve watched videos on it but two points I will share are “assassins don’t collect people alive..” and “I spoke out against the Aldmary Dominion” Hammerfell is at war with the Aldmary Dominion.. I doubt the Redgaurds would care that she spoke out against the elves nor would the elves hire their war enemies to kill her… Though I do agree, killing her after handing her over is the cursed part. They want justice against her so 🤷🏻‍♀️
