In my opinion, terraria isn't a sandbox game because you need to beat bosses to become stronger etc, and only a few people care about building. Most people just do wood boxes. Terraria is more or less just a boss rush game because the game forces to beat bosses to progress but yeah, idk why people compare minecraft with terraria because it's clearly not the same types of games

Add enemy cubes but like different variations. Normal cubes move towards you and are killed with any weapon. Fire cube which shoots fire balls that go through blocks and no gravity. Can be killed with any sword. Icy cube makes the player slower can be killed with fire sword. Poison cube. Spits an arching attack that poisons player. Killed with ice sword. Also misc enemies are juggernaut cube which is normie cube with more health and larger. Soldier cube which is normie cube with soldier helmet and immune to swords can only be killed with pickaxes.

Mind if I criticize a little? Alright so I find this idea to be REALLY COOL, but I feel it wasn’t fully explored, I played the game start to finish and it felt like the same thing over and over, it was just collect shards get better stuff then do it again, and the building sounded appealing for once I beat the game, but I quickly found there wasn’t much to do with that either For a few of my ideas I think a bigger world would be nice and with that maybe larger biomes, I think other vehicles like wave ship or ufo could be explored but I’m not sure how that would work. Lastly maybe bosses could be added like the deadlocked monsters or maybe custom bosses made of gd blocks. This sounds like a lot which it is but I’m not saying you NEED to add this I’m just saying it could be cool if this got updated in the future

Lemme put some more ideas: You can make different objects to attack bosses: Using 3 Fire Shards you can make a fireball. Using 6 Ice Shards you can make a throwable sawblade. Using 4 Poison Shards you can make a poison block which deals continous damage for 5 sec. (can apply only for enemy targets if you have a Poison Shard potion) Using 8 Lava Shards you can make a static fire ball which can be used to make lava pools. (same thing for the previous suggestion) Using 10 Shadow Shards you can make a big cluster particle which splits in more particles after 13 blocks that home in on the target. You can also make vehicles: Using 2 Lava Shards, 8 Poison Shards and 4 Ice Shards you can make a ship which can take you to where the first boss and fourth boss will be. Using 2 normal blocks, 8 Poison Shards and Ice Shards along with a special yellow jump orb made with 20 Fire Shards and Lava Shards (can also be used normally) you can make an UFO which can be used in the same manner as the ship, but you can place projectiles in it to fire them, basically you use the ship to go to where those two bosses are and use this to fight all of them. Using 5 Poison Shards and 1 Ice Shard you can make a Wave which is used to access where the second boss is. Using 4 Poison Shards and Ice Shards you can make a ball, which can be used to switch gravity, use other orbs simultaneously and reach the the third boss. And finally, bosses: The first boss is a big old Deadlocked monster which shoots lasers and fireballs. The second boss is the Sirius boss which uses the same attacks as in the level, and has two phases: one where you fight it in mid-air with the wave or ship and one where you fight it as a cube. The third boss is the Gear boss. It has the same attacks as in the levels, and has two phases: One where he uses lasers, pounds the ground and uses its mechanical claws. And one where he uses more lasers, shoots gears, pounds the ground, throws blocks with spikes on them and uses the same claw attack as before. The fourth boss is the creature from the Vault of Secrets' basement. Attacks: Same as the Deadlocked boss but with more attacks: throws spikes that are stuck in the ground, dissapears, after which shoots 5 spreads of fireballs, places chain lightning-enhanced sawblades, rapid-fires small particles and moves off screen, then shoots 2 fireballs that travel at 35 blocks/s The final boss is an icon which has all possible gear in the game, but also has more attacks: Reflects your shots, shoots lasers, burns the ground, throws bombs that throw little spikes after exploding and summons minions. Fives types of which: The shooter: shoots fireballs The bomber: throws bombs that DON'T throw spikes after exploding The sniper: shoots a long-range fireball that travels also at 40 blocks/s The rifler: rapid-fires fireballs The spreader: shoots a spread of tiny spikes. Like my ideas? By the way, to access the final boss, you use all vehicles. Ask me if you have questions, because I don't wanna edit this comment 69.420 times.

The game is very great and I also have two ideas for Geometry Box plus: 1: Slopes: Slopes act like slopes from geometry dash: you can go up them by moving into them. 2: Powerless Shards: They grow slowly on waffle tiles and you can use 4 of them to make a single waffle tile. The texture would be that of a fire shard without any color.

If you’re looking for a better game engine i highly recommend unity, it has a lot of built in systems like the physics and particle system so it’s great for beginners and it’s actually very good so it’s also good for pros...

I love this game. Here are some things wrong with it. 1. If you craft something with a full inventory, the materials are lost as well as the crafted item. 2. Changing the sound in the settings only changes the audio until the song is either replayed or replaced by going into a different area, where the song is then played at full audio (even though the setting says otherwise).

I can think of two features (to add in updates) and a bug. Feature #1: instead of fire shards giving you orange orb, make it give you a yellow orb. To get orange orb, you use lava shards. Feature #2: make shadow shards give you a reverse dash orb. You already know what it does. Bug: i have not gotten to the bonus shard point, but if the unlimited speed portal does what it sounds like it does, then we have a bug. I realized that the dash orb dashes you at your MAX SPEED. You can probably see where I’m going with this. Upon dashing with unlimited speed... I don’t even know what would happen, but it might be glitchy or weird. Edit: wait no... I just realized it’s a 5x speed portal not unlimited. Nvm, I’m dumb Another edit: you don’t actually need dash orb, you can just spam blue orbs Another fricking edit: okay, i just finished the game - it’s not 5x speed but it’s not unlimited. I edited this comment four times now, I’m just gonna stop

I finished the game. I want to note that there are 2 bugs I found: 1. You can use dash orb unlimited. 2. Even if music and SFX is off, music starts playing when entering another zone. I really liked the game and even if it took around 1h 30min to finish, it was really fun.

I have successfully cored out an entire world, leaving nothing but my cube, and a single cube of the deepest stone type. I have at least a thousand of each special terrain and about 6000-7000 hard stone, 5000 very hard stone, and 1000 of the hardest stone. *FEAR ME AND MY SLEEP DEPRIVATION!*

if your going to continue making the game i have some ideas: resources: make more resources to give more live to game like trees if you can even make that on geometry dash and its a bonus for another topic. mobs: for me the game looks really easy so you should add some mods to the game im gonna make a list of some mobs GEO bird: if you go really high he can start attacking you but if your not in the air the are pacific if you kill the bird youll get a feather which you can make some wings then youll jump higher! ZOM cube: if you die the place where you died will then have a ZOM cube he's gonna chase you down if you dont kill it he can be pretty annoying when you kill it it can drop the rest of your items but then you would need to make so whem you die you lose some or all of your items and depending on the area you died you would get some shards. bosses maybe?: i dont think you would add those but when you get the pickaxe a boss would appear when you exit the area and to get the rainbow items you would need to get like a super shard that would drop from the bosses. swords!: you cant have a game with mobs without swords! it would work just like pickaxes but with twist you wouldn't use shards you would use the resources instead! i think its a bit to much to ask but here!

i could not add more stuff in there so im gonna put it here but its just one thing locations: i dont have much to say but you could add that castle background or other backgrounds that have some kind of place in to then you know what i mean like the haunted house in the purple biome or a castle in the normal biome i dont know or like a volcano in the fire or lava. that's it

Fun Fact: if you put Gaster as your world name then everything will stop and it will be just the background, leaving you to re-open the game. this is a really cool easter egg! (intentional or not)

Someone needs to remake this game, but make the world bigger, add actual enemies, add a day/night cycle, nerf the blue orb by adding a cooldown to it every time you use it twice, nerf the dash orb by actually making it a maximum of 4 seconds, add a cooldown to all the orbs, make bosses, new dimensions, make the biomes not in a set pattern but instead make them spread out all over the place, add structures, add chests, and other stuff. Also, keep in mind that i said that someone else should do that, not macropixel. What are you looking at me for? I don’t know how to code!
