IST is actually kind of like math, you need to learn formulas and understand how it works so you can easily apply it to what you want to do, once you understand how this glitch works it's very easy to perform, I'd also like to clarify that WMC is a stem of IST which is a glitch that causes inventory corruptiong and that hold prompt enganglement isn't entirely the same glitch as IST, you need IST to perform HPE but it's mostly just transfering an item to an undiscovered tab and making invalid slots or duping arrows for invalid slots.

If they set m_Count to an absurdly high value so the item removal function never fails, remove items from the item list until the head of the list is NULL, and then set m_Count to 0, rather than removing m_Count items from the list, that'd fix IST, and by definition fix WMC. That's between 3 and 5 lines of C/C++, depending on how readable you like your code. Of course, if they have a larger class that manages the inventory, it would have to be added as a new method so it could access protected members, and called by whatever loads the saves, but that still only brings it up to ~7-10 modified lines. Of course if you do that, you have to ensure your list always has a tail (i.e. no cycles)

I’ve experimented with and even found some crazy glitches in the past decade, but Breath of the Wild manipulations and corruptions are just a whole ‘mother beast. The stuff people have managed to do with the game is just utterly insane! I have chatted with LegendofLinkk a few times (mostly about Origami King or funky clips I see him post from time to time) and his glitch intuition is off the charts

honestly weapon modifier corruption is not that complicated to execute. The basic setup is incredibly simple, even if understanding how it works is a bit harder. Although, stuff like direct inventory corruption is where it gets hard

Preference wise, I would prefer to just play the game as imagined with a few simple tricks like whistle sprinting. The Royal Guard's Bow has a high draw speed and is the only bow with a faster "reload" speed (the animation of Link bringing the bow back down). It won't fire all 10 arrows when corrupted, but a bow that quick with multiple arrows is much closer to a machine gun. A bow that literally one-shots ANYTHING (with the attack boosts) is still absolutely wild, though. The Ancient Bow naturally having the slowest draw speed definitely adds to the feeling of holding something with that kind of power.

Bow of Life acquire was not that hard just annoying and somewhat time consuming if it's your main file with many items. Most of the glitch is just getting rid of items very slowly. Also is possible on a main file if you follow directions carefully. I haven't tried WMC though and don't think I will because I'm already running out of inventory space to add more weapons. I hope they find a way to increase weapon slots

@@Limcube that isnt working for me, any idea why? im exiting inventory, hitting ZR and instantly after hitting A, it then makes me talk to her, puts me in the shop, but it still says i have 2 if the item I was smuggle holding.

@@Ky_Zollinhofer it didn't work for me when i tried what he said, but it turns out Limcube (i am pretty sure) skips a step, after you get weapon smuggle you gotta hold ZL, switch via quick menu to an one-handed weapon or if you already had an one-handed weapon equipped equip another and then equip that first weapon back (your shield and weapon gotta be in front of link) then you jump while holding ZL but let go of it after you pressed jump and buffer until the point where link tries to put his shield back which happens when Link is on the ground. After that you gotta do the step of doing ZR or dpad down and make sure you have your bow equipped before talking to the shopkeeper and follow the rest of the steps in the video. For me I got the 2 shields but not yet the 999 fairys. For that I needed to save, after saving use a fairy and then reload and you should have 999! You can find an example here on twich done by Limcube, (go to 52:30 thats where Lim starts with ist) www.twitch.tv/videos/1557936303 ps i did for experimenting some little different things then said in the vid and repeated that alot of times and now ended up with 32 seared steakes that are all in differrent slots.
