It's actually still used in one of the more popular categories too, all dungeons. You need two of them to reach the yiga hideout since it's so high up in comparison to gerudo town so just a BLSS can't make it.

My favourite thing about master mode is that in an effort to make the compendium 100% completable with out buying a picture Nintendo made sure that there was 1 of every low level type of monster somewhere in the game still

Can you get/photo the low-tier Lynel weapons though? Pretty sure only a Sword Lynel spawns at red tier.

@@ehx3419 They respawn with blood moons, so if the red doesn’t have a sword the first time, they might have it the next.

@@ryexanuri7604 I thought Lynels are hardcoded to have a specific weapon for each of their instances (e.g. the north one in the Faron Prairie would always have a spear, the one south from that always a crusher, the Plymouth one always a sword etc)?

@@ehx3419 thats correct, in fact i'm pretty sure that all enemies have hard coded weapons. and this does lead to low tier lynel weapons disappearing eventually, though it doesn't actually happen any faster on master mode because master mode only upgrades the enemies themselves and not their equipment - so blue lynels in master mode will still have the lowest tier of gear.

But so is Ganon. But yup, the patterns is what I'm finally learning. Some of their "big" attacks, when I see them preparing for it, I'm like, "Oh, good, you're doing that one...that means I get to take 10% of your health" lol.

I've been playing BOTW since 2018, and I managed to get somewhat good killing Lynels over the last few years, but still would take a lot of time, a lot of hearts, a lot of food, and a few weapons breaking each time. On a new play through last week, I decide to get good at beating them with just have a few things, such as the campfire-retrieved master sword and Hylican shield. It's been quite a challenge to be able to read and predict every Lynel and not get hit, or at least only a few times with a few fairies. Quite a challenge of the game, I'd say. I defeated Ganon the first time I accidentally triggered the final battle (had done the Divine beasts, but wasn't prepared really for a final battle in regards to food, fairies and upgraded armor) with friends watching (I just wanted to show them the castle, and one said, what's up there i the throne room? Oops!), and was like, "That's it?". Lynels are the only thing that add a challenge.

technically you could do wmc right? More of a question than a suggestion. Like could we have a "decently" fast way of getting a weapon capable of two shots? I just think it would be an interesting project. I have no clue how wmc works still (like I do, but I don't), but since IST is used anyway here, I feel like you could probably get the items (depending on what you need), make a good food and dupe enough to fill your inventory (which is necessary(?)), and whatever else you would have to do within 5 extra minutes. Idk though, just curious.
