You should really consider not eating sugar and pork. It would make you a lot more healthier. No harm intended just like to give my people some healthy advice!!❤

You have to eat sugar a little everything almost has sugar you can enjoy life without eating a lot of sugar in moderation.

@sallen685 I may have agreed with your comment; however, I'm new here, and seeing she has her own chickens and a whole garden, I'm sure she'll be fine. Nothing wrong with enjoying a little pork and sugar in moderation. Be blessed!! ❤️

You really have a lot of yard space and i love the way you are utilizing it. Keep up the good work this is something we NEVER should have stopped. This reminds me of my grandparents yard whatever we wanted to eat came from our yard. No hard feelings but don't think the sugar was necessary in either dishes. We have to keep our immune system strong. I to am health conscious couldn't help myself had to say it. One ❤🙌🏿💃

You have a lot of property to take care of, plus you make big tantalizing meals. Sometimes with all the things we have to do we do procrastinate. No wonder, we are tired. I was tired just watching you. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are doing a good job.

Tommy your pork looks delicious. Have you tried it with Dr. PEPPER OR ROOT BEER. They are good too. Sorry late sweeping and mopping my nasty kitchen floor. And I get the slaw mix too. Ain't no shame in the game. We are busy women. I took a 5 day vacation away from my home. Playing catch up now.

I know I don't know much about chicken coops but it seems like the sun is too hot for them right now maybe they need a cover on the front is beating on them I don't know girl I'm so proud of you got your own chicken if you go girl😅
@trishgels2 ай бұрын
They're only in the coop dusk til dawn, & it's much cooler then in W NC - 60s-70s even on 90°+ days. The run is covered vs hardware cloth, so the direct sunlight is low. FYI for non-chicken owners, heat is much worse than cold bc they can't sweat, but they can handle cold. Use a square perch bc their feet aren't made to curl around a dowel like other birds. They cover their feet when perching, which prevents frostbite. They can still get frostbite on their combs & waddles, but they huddle when sleeping, & the coop keeps them warm - so long as there are no drafts in walls, & ventilation is up top. Temps rarely get in the teens, & even then ppl shouldn't use heat lamps/heaters bc of the risk. Anyone considering chickens, if you get chicks in spring be aware they won't produce eggs in winter, but Tommy adds cayenne pepper to their water (they can't taste capsaicin), & hers lay. We freeze eggs for winter & they get a break. They only lay a certain # in their lifetimes, & ours will retire w/us. I love them♡ You'll need more over time for hens who stop laying. A rooster may give more, & they keep hens in line, & crow if there's danger. I love ours! Hope this helps someone!
