I made my Boosted Board BRAND NEW again!!

This vlog is for all the Boosted Board and electric skateboard lovers. Today, I'm rebuilding, or refurbing my Boosted Board. We're swapping out the deck for a brand new one. And we're gonna be putting some new wheels, and new bearings on too.
This is the closest I'm ever going to get this to being a brand new board!!

Nice job. Better to repair than replace. While you had it apart, I would have gone a little further, disassembled the trucks, greased the pivot cups and kingpins. And put blue thread lock on all of the bolts. Other than that, you’re good to go.

Yeah, I LOVE belt drive boards. I much prefer them to hub boards now.

Two other things one blue Loctite should’ve went on every thread that you undid and too why didn’t you clean those parts before you put it back on the board it would’ve really rejuvenated it

Did you balance the battery pack? Doesn’t have the amnesia firmware? Both questions are very important for the health of your board.

I’ve been keeping it charged, but I wouldn’t know how to ballast beyond that. It doesn’t have amnesia firmware or anything like that. But cause it was 2nd hand, I don’t know what condition the battery is in. Once I get any issues with RLOD, I’ll be getting an amnesia chip installed then.
