I made my friend a wedding cake

I made a wedding cake for my friend! I went with the flavors and design they chose and they loved the final result.
I used a Cake Safe to travel with the cake and it worked perfectly!

Until she began having issues with her hands; my Mom made amazing cakes. Every special event in the family included one of her custom made masterpieces. Her wedding gift to family and close friends was the multi-tier presentation wedding cake customized especially for each couple. Her quality was exceptional so it was truly a coveted gift. I watched a show where one family started having money problems because the mother developed tendinitis and was a hairdresser. I was quite young, and then I did as a musician. Now I’m in corporate but I draw and crochet for fun and am adamant against working with my hands and am consistently fighting with people about fair pricing. People often think a lot of things are “too expensive” but I was taught in school to include education, upkeep, etc. in our rates. Now I appreciate that you should also consider how long you can reasonably work, whether you’d be “happy to” or no. Sorry for the dump, but it’s a point I often debate, so I feel for what you are saying about your mother. I’m happy she got to do what she loved for as long as she did!
