on hard you need to find out the ghost often without direct evidence and requires knowledge of what the ghosts can do beyond the direct evidence. It might seem boring, but there is alot to pay attention to once you know and is rarely a real guess in my games. I'm level 90 with almost exclusively hard mode.

You should be more conservative with how many lights you keep on.... I found on easy you can keep something like up to 5 on as long as each room is right next to one another. On medium you can keep about 3-4 lights on if the rooms are next to each other, but only about 2-3 if they are rooms that are not next to each other. On hard it is about 2-3 lights if the rooms are next to each other and only 1 if they are not next to each other. Otherwise the lights will blow every time you try to turn them on. At least I think most of those numbers are accurate off the top of my head. Also when I say if the rooms are next to each other it means that there are no rooms with the lights off in between the rooms that have lights on. For example on the second level if you have a light on in the living room and in the hallway leading down the stairs you should be able to turn the light on in the hallway of the old part of the house without the bulb blowing, but if you try to turn the light on in either of the two rooms it will likely blow even if the light is not on in the hallway and it would be the same number of lights on if the hallway light was turned on without either of the rooms being turned on. At least in my experience that's how it has worked for me.

I hope the devs get more creative with this game soon. It is early I get it but most of the ghost abilities are directly copied from phasmo and they even directly copied the cursed object mechanic pretty shamelessly from phas especially in the voodoo and tarot cards, they are identical.. Current state of the game is phasmo with no crouching and no hiding, different textures, and gimmick secrets that do not actually impact the gameplay loop. I want this game to define itself in a meaningful way and I feel like these devs are capable of making a creative and inspired game but currently they have not done anything innovative in the genre and with how they just dropped Haunt Chaser I'm worried that if Demonologist drops in popularity they will just drop it and move on to a new game before this one ever reaches its potential. The game is neat but it needs to find where it will differentiate itself from phasmo and the other games in the genre and currently it hasn't done that at all.
