Yesss I love this!!! Lil tip- when I make curries I love adding the spices to the onion when you are frying them up and toasting the spices for 30seconds before adding other wet ingredients, it makes them stronger and more aromatic! Going to try these recipes. :)

I have a nice tip for the kaarage cauliflower: use potato starch rather than tapioca starch. It makes the end product crispier and if you make this recipe in bulk you can add some to the sauce to make it thicker and easier to spread on the cauliflower. You can also make vegan bacon out of carrots, similar to your rice paper bacon, and it goes really well in a toastie with some roasted pumpkin and seasoned cashew dressing. Ingredients in the cashew dressing include soaked cashews, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper. you could also add some avocado to the toastie if you wanted, and it's sooo good! Happy cooking!

That last dish with the noodles and saucey tofu has me drooooling! A tip for your korma is to temper the spices (which I’ve seen you do before), it’s so essential for any curry dish ;) thanks again for making us all envious of where you live! Haha!

Just something to note. Most Indian cuisines don’t use coconut milk in their curries (more common in south India but most Indian restaurants are north) I don’t know if that specific curry was a coconut one at the restaurant you went to but if coconut isn’t stated on the menu it probably doesn’t)
@phillippinter75183 жыл бұрын
Sorry nvm just looked at the menu online. It did have coconut
@elenamaria35423 жыл бұрын
Interesting..what do they use instead?
@phillippinter75183 жыл бұрын
@@elenamaria3542the water, vegetables, lentils ect.. are usually cooked so well they form a soupy consistency. If you go to an Indian restaurant you might notice most curries are not creamy or ask the waiter witch ones have coconut milk and usually most or all of them won’t. You could also look at authentic recipes. The biggest platform is tarla dalal
