Amber with elegy is sometimes used in hypercarry tao team, since she enables pyro resonance plus swirls and elegy buff. Like, even Dehya has a niche in Ganyu team, even though it's far from optimal.

What sometimes happen with Genshin characters is that the "weak" or underrated/least used characters end up having surprising synergy with each other that are overlooked a lot because these characters are like odd ducks to most meta comps where people see better alternatives for their most beloved DPS's, therefore people will tend to ignore these characters' potential and synergy with other "weak" characters.

You should definitely try a team comp called sayu-nado ( with Kayea, xiangling, and kuki/or someone else) it’s REALLY FUN (use kayea and xianglings burst and kuki’s skill than sayu hold skill and go around in circles😊

This was so much fun to see! It's so satisfying to just see all those numbers flying up as Sayu does her thing. I really like that you took the time to deeply consider what would be *fun* to play. Even better was that you considered different options and combinations of characters for something that would maximize Sayu's skills and time on the field to do her thing. And that took into account thinking about other characters' abilities. I was not expecting Dori at all! That was an inspired piece of work there in considering how her abilities could mesh with Sayu's since I think many folks consider that exact effect a weakness. To great effect too! She literally just rolled on the enemies. 😄 Maybe this team might be worth a revisit if you end up getting Dehya? I think I recall something in her kit reducing knockbacks/interruptions. Though that might reqire some other thinking... Anyway. I enjoyed this immensely and I look forward to your next challenge. 😊

Sayu is amazing! Heals, Swirls, she steals elements with her infusion which is great for borrowing elements not currently in the party, and she has a Claymore for grabbing up them sweet ores. Sayu is so rad!

As a Sayu main i'm very happy with this video and Sayu getting the love she deserves. I can tell you she's surprisingly a very versatile character. I usually use her with Kokomi, Beidou and Diona, Usually the rotation is Diona's E, Beidou's burst, kokomi's E and Diona's Burst then I use Sayu for using superconduct, hydro application to enemys far from Kokomi's E and Cryo application for enemys outside Diona's burst. It's actually really fun to play her, idk why people doesn't use her? Anyways that 0.2 percantage of Sayu's use in Abyss it's probably me and the other 3 Sayu mains hahshahah

Nice video! I love the creativity and thought process that went into this! However, I feel that I should point out that electro swirls can actually aggravate, so if you had gone that route it may have done more damage. Although I suppose it ends up with the same problem as hyperbloom where it doesn't require talents to be leveled, hm. I guess it's still something to keep in mind in case it's relevant to future videos you may make!

I didn't explicitly account for it in the video, but the swirl issue is that it isn't necessarily guaranteed to occur due to how much dendro application Nahida applies, sometimes the electro aura just gets completely absorbed, leaving nothing to swirl. As for other variants of swirl, as you said, it runs into the same issue that talent levels are irrelevant since you just need to build em.

Yo-yo Sayu is a cool comp because it utilizes things unique to Dori and Sayu that aren't used much. What I love about Genshin is how many unique interactions the elemental reaction system allows.

I used Kazuha and Nahida here in an attempt to amp Sayu's damage as much as possible. It is possible to do this comp utilizing DMC and Sucrose to replace them. You can also utilize instructor sets to make up the em difference as well.

I haven’t finished the video, but if she was c6 Id probably stack a Rainslasher on her - her burst gains scaling from that and the damage bonus from the… talent? skill? idk eztra damage to electro affected people. but if youre reliant on her skill. I also run an atk% goblet and she runs fine. heals like a monster and deals as much as Cyno on occasion. Another interesting about her is what i call “picking up” elements - not useful in the Abyss, but if im newr water in the overworld i can “bring” hydro over to turn my team Hyperbloom.

Rainslasher is for sure a good weapon for Sayu here, I don't have her c6 here unfortunately. As for the picking up elements, you'll see that I utilize this mechanic quite a bit.

I mostly ise it for my DMC - ill “pick up” hydro i could pick up in my normal team and bring it to my travelers burst so it gets that aoe boost. And i did notice that. Do you have c1 though? I suggest.. overload sayu.. Sayu, kuki full em, and xiangling / xinyan (xiangling is reliable), and nahida Nahida is there to boost em, and proc burning for kuki & sayu to do overload on, so xiangling can stay on her regular build instead of going full em

Looks good. If you get the chance to roll longer, fischl does much more dmg than kazuha but yeah, if it gets canceled a lot by enemies then its not worth it.

Yeah, the a4 passive effect on fischl would do more damage, and I definitely considered using it. It's rough for this particular abyss, just due to how much aoe damage there is.

Aggravate damage actually doesn't take talent multipliers into account, unless I've massively misunderstood things.

So the damage aggravate provides doesn't depend on talent levels but the talent levels directly matter now since you'll be building a dps based setup rather than a full em one for something like hyperbloom or swirl.
