Oh man, Boris the tech tuber is something I didn’t know I wanted. More if you feel like it, please! ITX cases aren’t really made for high power CPUs like the 11900K, which is known to draw power like a cyka, at upwards to 250W, and that case just simply don’t have the required cooling system for it. Some ITX cases like the Hyte Revolt 3 can run a 280mm radiator AIO, and that would be able to cool the 11900K. Prebuilds are often just not really well designed for all specs. They’re too standardized… Oh, please note that with your current fan configuration, you will end up with a lot of dust in your case, because there’s no dust filters over the air intakes in the rear. Maybe get a magnetic air filter for it? You should consider maybe trying to make a soft tubing custom watercooling, and slap a waterblock on that 3080.

@DJSekuHusky2 жыл бұрын
@@kaikart123 This is accurate. I did notice something: the fans need to be rotated, or at least their connections on the board. That top fan should always be spinning, and the GPU can be passively cooled this way until it meets threshold to activate the secondary (smaller=nosier) fan. This unit could very well have been assembled by a new, poorly trained or inexperienced worker who didn't understand the fan setup, especially since many quarantines were ending around that time. If your test procedure is simply to observe both fans spin, it would kinda make sense. Furthermore, I don't know whether this slipped past QC on Gigabyte's end, or if the previous owner tried to do something to it and mistakenly swapped connectors and thought he broke something. Does anyone know of other Model S' sounding like this? Personally, I use a 19.5 liter case for my sffpc; it's running 36C on air cooling at idle currently. It also has a single 140mm case fan, set on a curve, and I've never heard it sound anything like that arse of an Aorus. That's got to be set up wrong. The question then becomes was it an isolated mistake, or a massive oversight? I just can't imagine a company loosing that abomination on gamers and being proud of it, assuming it's all deliberate and with those numbers. Sure, in the back of my mind I wonder if the Gigabyte product team got too hung up on "get everything fitted in 14 liters"; so much so, that they designed it and themselves into a corner with a thermogenic monolith for a final product. Still, for the sake of fairness, I hope Gigabyte issues a product notice of some sort to hopefully clear up what happened and whether more units are affected. Either way, I want to see them properly address the issue for the sake of their consumers.
@kaikart1232 жыл бұрын
@@DJSekuHusky I am confused as to why they didn't just took NZXT H1 as design inspiration, instead they do a single heatsink for both GPU and CPU, that has to expel 450W thermal energy combined. It's mind boggling to me.

Great video, as always, Boris! I'd like to point out the orientation of the radiator, though. Now, I can only imagine you don't want to touch the internals of your PC ever again, but I think it is worth mentioning. It is recommended to have the hoses close to the bottom of the case, so that any trapped air doesn't get in the way of the coolant.
@Hansy9952 жыл бұрын
There's some truth to this, but as long as the pump itself isn't the highest point of the loop, it should be fine. Worst thing that could happen is, that he's gonna hear tiny bubbles near the top of the radiator. Now if the pump was higher than the radiator, that's a problem.

dude, Boris could be a character in a Cyberpunk game. Obvious slav, low life gopnik superstar that also just happens to be a master of futuristic high tech circuitry and components. If I walk in for a cyber-upgrade and a masked beast wearing a yellow track suit was squatting on a table doing surgery on a computer, bliiiiiiiin that would be awesome
