I have a question for you Paul! Why don’t you ever separate your metals or take stuff apart like motors for extra money??

It costs too much. It costs way too much time. In business it's called return on investment. Or ROI. For instance, electric motors are 15 cents a pound. If it takes 5 minutes for me to take a motor out, I'm only gaining 8 cents for every 5 minutes. If you do the math that's not even $1 an hour work

Mike the scavenger calls it micro scraping…. cleaning and separating the metals…… micro scraping is something that can be fun and zen also a good way to create longer videos or extra videos. If it takes 3 hours of work for 6 dollars is it worth it ., NO. Paul does have magnetic and non magnetic collection.

I scrapped for over 40 yrs. They used to pay for different grades of aluminum, extrusion, cast, sheet, & stainless steel , Now they take advantage and bulk it up all together. You should get a backup warning siren Paul, they are real easy to install and splice into your reverse lights, that way you dont have to honk every time you back up.

Depending on how old the refrigerator is, youd be surprised at the resale value of those shelves and drawers. Brand new they are crazy expensive. I have a 10 year old fridge and was looking to replace a plastic drawer with a crack in it. The OEM price was over $100. I opted instead to just superglue it. If there was one available on ebay, I'd have gladly paid 25 bucks

This is one of your best uploads ever. Great scrap pickups. I can hardly believe that the lift gate can lift more than the truck is allowed to haul. That motor/pump in there must be so strong or it has a very clever mechanism to get the necessary torque gain. In any case, thanks for the video Paul and enjoy life!

Those kitchen cabinets were from the 1950/60s, top of the line. When tipping the washer, dryer, or stove, I use the power cord over the far end of the control panel to help. I would not do this with working units, not damaging the cord. Thanks for the video.

Just a suggestion, maybe put your yellow straps inside the ladder rack, so you’re holding the scrap down but not putting stress on the sides of the ladder rack.
