That was part of the inspiration when making the video because I had seen them in the past. The idea originally came when I learned about the storage system design.

Its very impressive, but not very cozy. I think thats because of the bed being under a slab. Also, I liked the use of Gold Armour, which is actually useful in Beta, since all armours provide the same level of protection, and are only different in durability.

Yeah defiantly went function over form with this one. I also do like the look of gold armour. Slightly less useless in beta but you wouldn’t want to keep spending your gold on new sets of gold armour that’s for sure.

@@BoxBlair Depends on your mining setup and what else you're using gold for. You don't really need it for other stuff if you don't build with redstone or minecarts. Whereas Armour and tools are very temporary in beta, you'd probably want to save your diamonds for tools, and your iron is being used by a whole load of things. Probably among the most used resources in the game! So that bumps up the usefulness of gold and leather armour.

@ I suppose. I always just find that I have copious amounts of iron spare for armour if I ever need it which isn’t often. And I suppose I like to use my gold in redstone and sometime building but each to their own.
