I have created one cover, one interior and keep reworking it, it was been over 12 months stuck on one book, frozen, not confident to progress. Will keep watching all the KDP youtubers such as yourself.

As someone who tried Etsy last year and failed miserably, I was really nervous about trying something else and wasting a lot of time and effort again. With KDP was a different experience because I actually enjoy producing the books. So far in 3 months I believe I am achieving something and I allowed myself a 2 year time frame before deciding to quit or that wasn't a good idea. And the main thing: stop comparing your business with someone else's that is making $500 after only 3 months. Adds are a game changer. I completed my first month running a low budget add and I sold 8x more than last month.

Thank you for your info! I just published my first book and it was actually fun even with the mistakes. I like what you said about not worrying about what other people say. I have always proved those people wrong. I am focusing on one thing at a time. Creating low content books I would like and use until I get use at the publishing in's and out's!

Low content books have plummeted in sales mostly because of KZbin videos telling everyone how they can make thousands a month with little effort. Everyone tried throwing them up and now there are hundreds of thousands of them. I tried 25 myself and never sold a single copy and I have other books published that make a decent revenue each month. I wouldn’t waste your time on low or no content in 2023.

Hello. Please, can someone let me know what I did wrong. I used Book Bolt to create my book design (interior and exterior). I also used a popular book title that sells (some publishers use the same name, too), but Amazon came back saying copyright infringement on everything stated above. I thought book bolt designs were free to use. What should I have done differently, please?

when publishing a children's book I was told by a company that I needed to submit it to the library of congress? Is this correct, they want 1400.00 to publish- this after the $$ I paid to get it formatted and illustrations added. I have never done this before. Do I need to pay for copyrights?

Anyone reading: some 120 page books (large print, color pages instead of black&white) sell for $8 while this doesn’t even cover print cost according to the calculator, how is this possible???

@@thefireflysmagic I've done some research and the only reason I can find is that these authors probably print in bulk (maybe even overseas) and sell the books on Amazon without using print-on-demand. Maybe an interesting thing to look into when one of your POD books performs well.

I have a question that I have not been able to get the answer to, going on 4 months now.... pertaining to uploading my low content books to kdp . Not so much the upload part but the part when you are finished with your book(I use book bolt) and the process from downloading it onto your device and turning it into a PDF. The reason im asking is because I haven't been able to successfully upload any books recently onkdp .. I try to upload the cover and it automatically comes back in red .saying upload error and th same thing with the interior.. I've made sure a million times over that everything. Is the same on my book to the uploading page... im not sure what im doing wronf ...plz help if you can... plz and thank you
