As much as I love low cars, there comes a point in terms of drivability, I've learnt this myself in the last couple of months! Cheers for sharing mate and keep on keeping on!

Looks tuff AF, the rear is very similar height as mine but your front is lower, I've still got my bump stops, I've never hit them and it's been down there for years.

Hi , did you have any issues with the leaf spring plate fouling on the inner rim . Ive just put in 2.5 inch blocks with 20 inch wheels and hitting the rim ?
@moldzvlogz4 ай бұрын
Hey mate no I didn’t but a lot of people do, 2.5” is probably too big of a block to run. You will need to get lowered or reset leaf springs
@rickcannon823 Жыл бұрын
How did it get so low with just 1"blocks,? Had the springs already been lowered?
@moldzvlogz Жыл бұрын
Yep, leaf springs were already reset to flat.

@@moldzvlogz cheers, just looking to bring the arse down on my xr8 without breaking the bank, reckon 2" blocks with 20's would be fine with stock springs?
@moldzvlogz7 ай бұрын
@@jamiewalker9501 yeah should be okay you just need to watch out that the lower shock mount has clearance to the rim. That can be an issue. Keep your eyes peeled out on marketplace, I scored these for $150

@moldzvlogz awesome thanks mate, should be plenty of room for that it's pretty high in the rear, will do until I can get lowered leafs, will be down sizing the wheels from 20's to 18's as well I want meat on the tyres for my plans

@Moldz Vlogz Hey mate, silly question? But did ya Ute have lowered shocks and springs aswell? And do you think just lowering blocks is an option for a daily driver (ba wagon) would it drop much? instead of going the extra mile money wise on shocks and springs?
@moldzvlogz3 жыл бұрын
Hey lad, yeah it had bc racing coilovers on the front with the bc adjustable shocks in the rear. Aswell as reset leaf springs. But you can definitely just whack some blocks in and it will lower it. Just if you go too far with just blocks the inner lip of the rim ( if stock ) will foul on the lower shock mount. But if you have 20’s or something bigger you’ll be a bit safer
