I discovered IMJ about a year ago. I had never seen it . My older sister is 16 years older than me she had never seen it eithe. We didnt have a tv until 68 We are both enjoying Joan ty very much.

I discovered this show around 1980 when it was playing on some channel. They also played my little Margie and Bachelor Father, none that I knew about because I was too young , Good ones!! Jim Backus also played on Gilligan's island, and was old Mr. Magoo, used to be on TV when I was a kid. They used to play so many old shows and Movies on Regular TV. Look at an old TV guide online, in the 70s. The whole day would be a wealth of Classic TV and Movies! Joan Davis was great!

I watched "My Little Margie" when I was little--loved Gale Storm! And "Bachelor Father", too. Fun memories...

Joan died suddenly when I was watching her show on network TV syndication in 1961. The rest of her family died in a house fire two years later. Eerie to say the least.
